Reminder: most of us don't even realize it, but we are walking around dehydrated much of the time.
This is why I put hydration on the list of non-negotiables (you did see that course, right?). Here's an article from UC Davis on why hydration is important.
On workout days, I will commonly take a very small dose of iodized table salt with my morning water just to make sure I get some electrolytes in the morning. This may not be appropriate for everyone, but I encourage us all to at least monitor how much water we drink in a day.
How can you tell if you are hydrated enough? Simple: Producing clear urine is a good indication that you're well-hydrated.
