understand that’s a very personal question to ask. If you are
anything like I was you wont really have a clear definition of
what success is! At one time success for me was just a blurry
idea that landed somewhere in between having enough money to pay
the power bill and being in the perfect relationship. I found my
ideas of success were mostly based on feelings. Feelings
surrounding a perception of what I thought success might be.
Most of those perceptions had been placed there by movies,
books, television, and the people I grew up with. In reality
most of the ideas about success were not actually my own. I
thought I would feel a certain way if I obtained an item, idea,
money, or relationship; often times not feeling quite the way I
thought I would once I obtained or accomplished an endeavor. The
more I researched into the subject of success, the more I
realized it rings true for all of us; things don’t bring
happiness. If the things don’t bring happiness, what does?
I learned that my level of happiness has everything to do
with the gratitude I have for giving or receiving, not at all in
the shallow realm of material possessions or pursuing self
8centered goals. Happiness is directly
correlated with our attitude of gratitude! If
we are thankful to give, receive, or do
things, then our heart is at peace. When we
forget the blessings we have, we focus on the
problems concerning those we do not. If we
can stop comparing ourselves among ourselves
we can focus on our individual ideas of
success and live them!
Have you achieved all the things you’ve
ever dreamed of? Is your life exactly the way you thought it

Do you want to know the secrets that only a handful of
people on earth know exist? Then I have found exactly what it is
that you will need to utilize the freedom and power God has
granted us through his word. As far as life success is
concerned, why is the word of God important on a spiritual and
physical level? Which religion truly holds the answers and the
truth we need to understand ourselves? The answers to these
questions will provide you the truth, and the truth shall set
you free.
The linguistic and philology team at Bob Jones university
began an extensive comparison of the quizzical script found in
the “Junk DNA” with the catalog of every recorded human
language; hoping to find similar lingual threads so that they
could begin to formulate translations of the message that lay
hidden in the DNA. Professors were rocked with sheer awe when
they found that one existent language, and one language alone,
was a direct translatable match for the sequential DNA strands.
The Language in the “Junk DNA”, the DNA that scientists had for
years discarded as useless, was indistinguishable from ancient
Aramaic. Even more amazingly, as linguists started to translate
the code within the human genome, they found that parts of the
script it contained were at times remarkably close in
10composition to verses found in the Bible. And at times contained
direct biblical quotes.
On the human gene PYGB, Phosporomylase Glycogen, a non-
coding transposon, holds a linguistic sequence that translates
as “At first break of day, God formed sky and land.” This bears
a stunning similarity to Genesis 1:1 “In the beginning, God
created the heavens and the earth.” Gene Bmp3 has a
Retrotransposon sequence which translates to the well-known 1
Corinthians 6:19 “Do you not know that your body is a temple of
the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God?
You are not your own.” This is repeated over and over throughout
the entire sequence of human DNA: embedded equivalent genetic
code of ancient Aramaic that seems to translate as the word of
God to his people.
Matthew Boulder, chief linguist for the project and
professor of applied creation sciences at Bob Jones University,
issued this statement: “As for the evidence- it is there and it
is, to my view, undeniable. The very word of God elegantly
weaved in and out of our very bodies and souls, as plain as day.
And the beauty of it is that God would lay down the words of
truth in our very beings which shows his love and The Miracle.”1
As you can see, it goes far beyond simply putting us in a
good mood. The very structure of our physical being is the word
of God! His word, found in the Bible, is like a sword that can
be used to defeat the enemies which stand against us in our
quest for success. The sword is the living word of God wielded

11through you! It’s awesome to know the most powerful force in the
universe is there for you. Listen to what the Bible says
concerning the word.
“In the beginning was the word, and the word was God. He
was in the beginning with God. All things receive being through
him, and without him not one thing received being which has
being. In him was life, and the life was the light of men. And
the light appears in darkness, and the darkness apprehended it
not. There was a man sent from God, his name was john. He came
for witness, that he might witness concerning the light, that
all might believe through him. He
was not the light, but that he
might witness concerning the
light. The true light was that
which, coming into the world,
lightens every man. He was in the
world, and the world had it’s
beginning through him, and the
world knew him not. He came to his own, and his own received him
not; but as many as received him, to them gave he the right to be
children of God, to those that believe on his name; who have
been born, not of blood, nor of flesh will, nor of man’s will,
but of God. And the word became flesh, and dwelt among us. John
1, the Bible. The word that became flesh is Jesus. He is both
the savior of the world and the proclaimed Jewish Christ
prophesied in the Old Testament Torah. There is no wisdom
outside of his boundaries. He understands your individual
struggles. He has love for you that no other person has. When no
one else is there to help you, he will. Jesus is the master
instructor in the martial arts classes of life. His battle plans
never fail. He will give you the strength and endurance to
12overcome your adversaries. While training with him you will be
prepared to take on the forces that war against your success. He
will teach you to take them on and win. No one has ever defeated
the master and frankly no one ever will. With the master by your
side you will be protected by the most powerful force in the
universe. His techniques allow you to become everything you’ve
ever dreamed possible. Without the master and his training it is
absolutely impossible to win the battle for success only through
learning and living by God’s way will you be able to recognize
the Devil that fights you, both internally and externally.
At this point in life you may be unaware of the things
holding you back. It is very possible you have not recognized
your Devil, an Devil who knows what your weaknesses are. One who
can exploit them without your knowledge. The master will show
you exactly who that Devil is and just how hard he is fighting
to destroy your dreams. As I have learned, this is exactly what
the Devil will continue to do until you learn how to defeat him.
Only when you complete your training will you overcome this
ruthless foe.
As I was going through the ranks in my martial arts career
there was a banner that hung from the wall of the training
center. The banner said, “Always finish what you started.” That
banner is so simple yet has such a resounding truth. Once you
begin training it is important you make the dedication and
commitment to finish what you have started. Train a little get a
little. Train some more get some more. Train a lot get a lot.
13ABOUT THE AUTHOR
It is important for you to
understand this book was written as much
for myself as for you. A project I began
to help myself move from the place I was
in to the place I wanted to be. Every one
of us will have a somewhat different idea
of what success means. There within is the
beauty and uniqueness of the freedom God
gives us to be ourselves. We all have
different battles we face, but the Devil is the same. Success is a
highly personal arena and it will be up to you to decide what your
level of success and happiness ultimately is. The system of the world
relentlessly tries to force you to conform to their heavily marketed
ideas of success. If you don’t think so ask yourself why people once
wore bell bottom pants, had a velour shirt, had a Michael Jackson
zipper jacket, or any other fashion or fad that came along. The ideas
were marketed and sold to us as acceptable. Those who had those items
were perceived as successful or popular. How many people from the late
sixties who thought they were cool dressing like hippies still dress
like hippies? That false perception of cool is now ridiculous looking
to most people. What the world system has to offer is temporary. God’s
plan is eternal.
A little about me, I ran my own martial arts school for thirteen
years. As the master instructor I had a vast amount of knowledge
about combat techniques. I ate, slept, dreamt, and practiced hand-to-
hand combat. It made me even more aware of the need to be prepared for
any attack, of any kind. In martial arts you learn early on there is
always more you can learn. The greater the Devil you face, the greater
the knowledge and training needed to defeat him. Keep in mind, the
14Devil rarely attacks the area you are strongest. If he did we would
easily overcome all our problems.
In my life I’ve had times of great achievement and great failure.
Every successful person I have read about and studied reached a point
in life when they faced a battle they felt they might not win. All of
them told a story of a time in their life when fear rose up and
desperation came knocking at their door. So you and I are not alone
when it comes to facing struggles. Several years ago I got a very good
taste of fear and desperation. As I explain my situation, you must
first understand a little about how I think. Being a martial arts
instructor for so many years I use a lot of terms referring to Jesus
as my master instructor. Since the Bible tells us we are in a
spiritual battle and we wrestle against those spiritual things it just
makes sense to me to see Jesus as my master. He’s not little baby
Jesus in the manger. He’s not dying Jesus on the cross. Jesus is the
king of kings and lord of lords. He will defeat the forces of darkness
and men will practice the art of war no more forever. My God is an
awesome God.
It is crazy how easily we can forget who the God we serve is.
Well, I forgot about the power of God and also the power of our
adversary. In the whole spiritual battle of life I got caught off
guard and several months went by before I realized what was going on.
This forced me to turn to the master for some better training and
protection.
Like any good student, I knew I had to humble myself in order to
learn to better my skills. I could see that anything less than
complete devotion, in the end, would ultimately lead to my defeat. It
was through these struggles I learned some very important secrets.
Allow me to tell you how I came to understand how to get out of my
situation and learn to master my destiny. So here’s my story; I was
one day a happy go lucky guy who seemed to have everything, and
suddenly, life kicked me right in the gut. The housing market crashed
and the situation put me in a financial strain. Then at the same time
15my relationship with my fiancé ended. This sounds like the beginning
of a fun day right? It seemed like I went to bed one night and woke up
the next day and my world was over. Mistakenly I chose to let this
situation make me feel like a complete
failure.
Now, to the outside world, no one would
have ever known. Inside, like so many others
who faced a serious problem, I was hurting.
Moreover, I failed to realize I had a shallow
sense of reality. I had come to believe my
value came from the size of my bank account,
physical ability, and strength over others.
Honestly, I didn’t have a clue who I was
anymore, exhausting most of my energy trying
to maintain an image of what others thought
was successful, I found myself trapped there mentally. Internally I
had lost focus, feeling unsuccessful, and worthless. Have you ever
felt like that in your life? You would be
surprised how many of the world’s top athletes,
ultra wealthy, motivational speakers, etc.,
have themselves at some point in their life
felt like a failure. I kept asking, “Who am I?”
I went down my list of accomplishments,
thinking this would give me an idea of how to
rate myself. Believing those things would boost
my ego and help me get through my struggles.
So I started down my list, I am a
university graduate with a degree in marketing
and advertisement. After college I pressed on
to become a black belt instructor in martial arts. I found a
passion for physical fitness and wanting to help others, so I
studied and tested to become a certified personal trainer. I
16opened up a martial arts school and gym. I trained and taught
there for thirteen years.
My grandfather was a fire chief and my uncle a firefighter.
After the world trade center tragedies, I applied to become a
firefighter and a shock trauma emergency medical technician.
There were nine hundred people who applied for thirteen
positions. After nearly six months of testing, interviews, and
background checks, I was honored to be chosen as one of the few
selected.
During my time as a firefighter I studied and earned a real
estate license. I found I was making more money in a month doing
real estate than my entire years salary as a firefighter. So I
left the fire department and went full time into real estate
investment. Also, I went to school and got a real estate
license. To ensure contractors and home inspectors were being
honest with me I took courses and gained a class “a”
contractor’s license. That was all great until the real estate
market crashed and the investment loans were no longer
available, houses were not selling and funds were drying up.
This forced me to have to roll with the punches. So again I
changed careers.
One of my best friends Chris owned a car dealership and was
doing well. I decided this would be my next best move. So I
tested and earned a license to become an automotive broker. This
seemed like a way to finally take it easy on my body and relax a
little bit. As I learned, the car business, for an honest man,
is no place to try to relax. So there I was, another
accomplishment, another path, still feeling like I was on the
wrong course. Can any of you relate to that feeling? The reason
I felt that way was because I was accomplishing deeds without
following the master’s plan! I was doing things that outwardly
17appeared to be what others would approve of but not what I was
called to do.
As I reflect back in time I remember one summer day when I
was twelve years old I walked outside and asking God a question.
This was an innocent but honest question. I asked God what he
wanted me to do for him. I didn’t hear a booming voice from the
heavens, but as sure as I’m writing you this today I heard a
voice inside me say, “Go and preach to people my word and tell
them I am.” You have to understand at twelve years old when I
asked that question I didn’t really expect a response. Oh, but I
got one. I kind of pretended it didn’t happen. I wasn’t exactly
sure what to think about my answer from God, so I dismissed it,
and carried on with my youth. For a long time I quietly ignored
the instruction. Then many years later, when I was trying to
decide what to do with my life, I thought it would be a good
idea to ask God what direction I should take.
I sincerely asked him what he wanted me to do. I didn’t
hear any voice from heaven or see a hand appear and write on the
wall. I did however; hear a voice or a message directed to my
conscience. I suddenly remembered that voice from when I was
twelve. It said, “Go and preach to people my word and tell them
I am.” Oh how I wrestled with that. I thought to myself, this
has got to be my conscience playing a trick on me. There is no
way I asked the same question and over a decade later get the
same response. So do you know what I did? I decided to make a
compromise with that message from God.
I would open up a martial arts school and also tell people
about God. That seemed like a good plan. I would get my way, and
God could get his. The problem is, that wasn’t what I was
specifically told to do. Like so many people you read about in
the Bible, who had the same type of behavior, I suffered the
18consequences of disobeying the master’s message. I avoided God’s
message to me for another decade. Yes an entire decade! You
might assume that was a crazy decision, or you may be totally
relating to this. I’ll bet if you have ever said a prayer in
your life you’ve received a message you did not obey. How did
that work out for me? I paid the price for choosing to do only
what I wanted to do. However, it did get me to the point of
writing this book and sharing it with you.
Let me share one of the most difficult challenges of all
the challenges I faced. The situation was a relationship I had
with my ex fiancé. I had been struggling to make the
relationship work for several years. Yes I know, relationships
can be a challenge, but they should never be a struggle. No
matter how hard I tried there seemed to be massive obstacles
getting in the way. I know now it was spiritual. It seemed an
invisible force kept causing chaos and confusion between us. You
see, during the time we had first met, I had made a decision to
do what God had told me to do. I would finally tell people about
him and his word, and I would do all the research it took to
prove his message was true. Finally, I would obey what I had
been instructed to do. Yeah, I know what you’re thinking. It’s
about time; if God had told me to do something I would have just
done it. Well, like I said, it took me a decade for the message
to sink in. The problem was a notion entered my head that God
had not put there. I believed I needed to be married and have a
family for anyone to listen to me. I told myself, “You can’t be
single and tell people about God, life, and success.” Besides, I
didn’t want to be running the streets, dating and dealing with
all the drama involved with that lifestyle. Well, I was wrong
about that too.
19I now realize I had become so focused on being in a
relationship; I neglected what God told me to do with my life.
God once again was not coming first in my plans. So, I let love
blind me. Truthfully, if you let anything become a greater value
in life than your relationship with God it can be used by the
other side to defeat you. I kept telling myself, all I want to
do is what is considered to be the right thing. That was my
excuse anyway. My logic was, as soon as this relationship is
fixed I can write a book or do lectures and help people. The
problem was, when things kept going wrong, I would put more and
more effort into fixing the issues. What started as a little
effort turned into a lot of effort. Then the situation started
to occupy most all of my free time.
We would just start to be getting along and in a flash the
relationship would go wrong. I couldn't fully understand what
force or negative energy was getting in our way. The
relationship would continue to fall into chaos. I want you to
understand something from my own experience, negativity outside
influences can and will hinder any relationship. This book will
help you recognize negativity and kick it out of your life. I
now have a beautiful wife who does not cause me the negative
stress and disruptions the former relationship caused. People
often come with demons attached from earlier points in their
lives. Sometimes they are slow to reveal themselves until they
can work to destroy your own life. Your boyfriend, girlfriend,
husband or wife is not there for you to fix them. They are there
to be a helper in the journey of life. If they are not then they
may be there for something else!
There is a spiritually negative force and mindset that can
be found present in almost every aspect of modern day life and
we need to learn to be a light in those poorly lit places. When
20we learn to help ourselves we can then help others see this
light. Let’s move back to my situation, as I know I’m not alone
in having experienced relationship problems. Negativity,
confusion, and distress kept popping up every few weeks! Things
would seem good for a couple weeks then something strange would
come up. This went on for nearly seven more years of my life.
Seven more years I kept trying to resolve this strange
situation. Just imagine being in a situation where the logical
way to resolve the problem is clear and evident, yet, no matter
the logic, love, or long suffering, the situation will not
resolve itself.
You can be assured something emotionally and probably
spiritually ungodly is present and causing this type of
disruption. That and I should have listen to my heart the first
time it told me to get out of the relationship. Don’t judge from
time to time everyone has failed to listen to his or her heart.
Just my time seem to take extra long to sink in. The Bible tells
us God is not the author of confusion. It’s evident now there
were bad choices and spiritually harmful things in that
relationship that were hindering my success with God. We all
know relationships can bring us way up or way down. A blessed
relationship is from God and a cursed one, well; you can figure
that one out.
As you can see I was chasing my own logic and where that
logic was leading me. The Bible tells us to seek first the
kingdom of God and then all other things will be given to us.
Here is some good advice my friends, obey the master the first
time he tells you what is best for your life and you’ll avoid
many of life’s tragedies and pain. Some of you have faced a
divorce or a similar relationship circumstance because you or
your partner may have failed to listen to the master.
21Let me tell you something from my heart; you can be a
warrior with the ability to endure many types of physical pain
and mental challenges. However, when it comes to love and giving
your heart to another person, you can find yourself in an
intensely vulnerable state. Don’t think Lucifer doesn’t know
that. You can avoid years of heartache in your relationships by
obeying God’s plans right from the start. I kept failing because
I kept forgetting to put on my armor before going into daily
battle. I dedicated a lesson of this book to putting on that
armor to protect us from the attacks of our Devil. I was not
using my essential weapons to fight off the attacks and it
caused me to keep getting beat down. I kept leaving my sword in
its sheath, which allowed the Devil to drive me back. All the
momentum and all the accomplishments I had achieved over the
years were seemingly being brought to nothing. Why, because the
Devil had no fear of attacking me. Would you be afraid of an
Devil who wasn’t going to hit you back? Imagine running into a
medieval battle naked and unarmed with your Devil in full armor
swinging battle-axes, swords, and maces at you. In the spiritual
sense, most people do this everyday.
Now, because I didn’t know how to fight back correctly the
Devil used that relationship to destroy my heart and release a
mental feeling of total worthlessness in me. I was having a
normal human reaction to heartbreak but that did not make things
easier nor did it help me resolve the situation. I’m sure some
of you can relate. As a man it’s not easy to write about our
feelings. Men like to keep and maintain the illusion that we are
beyond this form of hurt. That we can conquer any situation and
emotions will not slow us down. Well, we are not! Though I had
to go through a very painful situation and could see nothing
22good coming from, I realize now it was those struggles that
forced me to sit down and write this message to you.
This part of my life seemed really important to share with
you, as the division of couples who were once in love is so
prevalent in society today. Relationships are one of the most
important aspects of our lives. God does not want people who are
in love to be divided. It’s why the Bible tells us that God
hates divorce. He doesn’t want us to live in and with the pain
of separation. The Devil however, loves to divide and conquer.
What I’m saying is, I know what a failed relationship feels
like. I know how painful and life altering the situation can be.
I know what life feels like when you struggle each day to get
by. Our Devil knows this too. It’s why he uses separation to try
to destroy so many lives. Remember this, what the Devil intends
for evil the lord can change and make good. So don’t stay in
despair over your situation. There is hope.
I believe that God’s intention for us is not to suffer
loss. We were not originally created to die or suffer separation
from loved ones. Most people blame God when things go wrong in
life. It is true that God will let us go through trials in order
to get us back on the right track, but Lucifer is the one who
has been responsible for the serious things in life we suffer.
So let’s let the blame fall where it is due. We are in a war
against the Devil and I now understand if he can beat me down he
can beat you down too. So let’s work together at driving him
back. God has a better plan for our lives. We don’t have to live
in a defeated state, in defeated relationships, or with defeated
minds.
Through that relationship torment and career struggles the
Devil had caught me with a right hook and knocked me down. I
could have just laid there and given up. Just gone back to
23living my everyday life, and fading into obscurity and self-
pity. However, if I had done that millions of people would have
never heard this message and the Devil would have won again. As
I lay there in my state of temporary defeat something welled up
inside me. “I don’t think so, I’m not going out like this! I’m
knocked down but I’m not knocked out!” I got up off the pavement
of my life, with all the cuts, bruises, and blood streaming
down. That’s when a massive spark of anger toward the Devil
began swelling up from within my spirit. No, not like this, I’m
a son of the living God. I am an heir and joint heir with Jesus,
made righteous by his shed blood on the cross. According to
God’s word, I’m considered so important I will one day be
charged with judging the fallen angels. I’m important in the
kingdom of God. God cares about me! Why am I letting the Devil
beat me down like this? Finally I said no more. I’m coming back
swinging.
God had a plan for my life and I know now the Devil was out
to stop it. He has better plans for your life as well. How could
I have been so blind all the time? There is a good chance you
have had a major area in your life where your dreams have been
stifled, an area where you can’t fully understand what has stood
in your way. Don’t lose hope because God “our master instructor”
is waiting to train and help you win your fight. In the end, he
has a way of making any circumstance work out for his and our
best interests. I can’t emphasize this truth enough. What the
Devil intends for evil our master can make good! Because of
God’s enduring love, power, wisdom, and patience this
information is reaching you. I realized my life could be an
analogy of the story of Jonah and the whale; I finally wanted
out of the belly of my whale bad enough to do what God told me
to do. I’m finally sharing ”Millionaire Mindset” with you.
24This book is a compilation of two years of research into
what holds us back and what moves us ahead in life. “Millionaire
Mindset” was not an overnight transition for me. I am so
thankful God gave us this information to allow us to live better
lives. I have been set free from the bondage I was once under
and the confusion the Devil has placed throughout the world.
Most of all, I know what my purpose and destiny in life is. I
pray with all my heart you enjoy and benefit from this journey.
How you use the information and what you do with your life will
be entirely up to you. Each of us has a life and destiny that is
unique.
Now it’s time for me to transition from the stories of my
own life to the situations surrounding those forces that are
affecting all of our lives. This book is not about me it’s about
us. This book is about defeating evil with good, hate with love,
violence with peace. When you understand how to become
