If there's one thing I learned.. It's that you're on your own.
After a breakup I had a couple months ago, I realized that you're really on your own. There's no one else that'll truly have your back other than yourself. 1. Recognize that ultimately, you're on your own. No one else can be responsible for your happiness or success. 2. Understand that you are your own best ally and worst enemy. 3. The sooner you understand this, the less painful it'll feel long-run. My relationship was a two way deal, I taught her what being loved felt like and she taught me what self love felt like which put me on the path to self improvement. And yeah, it's tough. I want you to know that choosing the hard path with a rewarding outcome, over the easy path with challenges as the outcome isn't so common.. It's crazy.. Self improvement isn't so common. No one really tries to better themselves because they're just comfortable with being.. Comfortable and that means not truly maxing out to your potential. Which enhances the feeling of loneliness, which in return makes the journey 10x more painful. Keep in mind that there's going to be struggles with whatever goal you're trying to achieve and know that no one's really going to be by your side 100% unless.. They're your soulmate. This is just a reminder, a note to keep in mind that the consequences of relying on other people is only going to hurt you. This includes relying on your friends, family, other close individuals for your happiness. Stay focused on yourself, because in reality.. You're the only one who's there 100% of the journey,
