26 years on the job in Texas

Competent / Confident / Consistent 18 + years in the fire service.

I just retired after 43 years in the fire service. Firefighting is by far the best job in the world, but it will take a toll on you body and mind.

32 years in the fire service with 2 more to go. One son is a firefighter with another on that path. Want my sons to have a healthier carrier than me.
