Self-acceptance isn’t a destination, it’s a daily practice. Some days, it feels easier. Other days, we struggle. But even on the tough days, we’re still enough. What’s one thing about yourself you’re learning to accept? For me it is being more patient with myself and let go of the urge of judging everything and everyone, myself included. I’m learning to reframe the peer-talk as if I was talking to a friend instead of nagging, pointing and feeling guilty. Again… micro steps, patience and consistency.
