Community members
I’m slowly making my way up the list with members in my group with a whopping 33. However, I’m torn with THE members I’m getting. I have membership questions to sift out those who aren’t really involved, but it seems like I’m getting more and more members that do Shopify and Ai digital marketing and whatnot. Do I accept them when I see their request? (My community is involved in the car industry🚗) From the algorithm point of view, I’d imagine it’d push my group more with more members, correct? Or do I decline and keep my members organic and make sure EVERYONE of them are in my niche?

Rule of 300
Who all have done the rule of 300? Was it a success for converting people into your group? How do you navigate through Instagram spam detection? It governs my comments and DMs everyday. I try to make all my comments helpful and my DMs authentic and not “spammy” but still get limited. At one point, my account was on lock down for 3 days🤣🤣

Rule of 300

@John Francis 100 comments, 100 DMs and 100 mins of producing content all in one day.

@Warrick Duncan my thought is, they just picked 100 per action just as a number to shoot for. While working a fulltime job, I could see how it would be difficult to reach those numbers realistically. However, I’ve came to the conclusion that, any comments or DMs are better than the ones you didn’t send out yesterday. I’ve shifted focus within the last week and started trying to make insta reels and then reach out to those who engaged with me first and calling that good for now.
How do I fix my conversion rate 😳
Does anyone have any ideas on how I can fix this and start converting more of my audience. By the way all this traffic is through my organic TikTok and discord. I don’t do ads. Any help would be much appreciated :)

I am fairly new to skool, and am still learning. However, i went and looked at your communities about page. I didn't see anything way outta the ordinary. It wasn't really appealing to me visually, but i am also not a basketball player. did you originally start paid? or was it a free community at first?

@Hoops University you’ll have a low conversion rate due to it being paid. Kind of a catch 22. I think the average conversion for a paid group is 4%. I’d tweak your about page description a tad and see what that does. Maybe even add a video of you talking for the headliner in the photo section? Just trying to bounce ideas off of you, I’m still new to this so we’re learning together
Email List?
As I get new members into my community, am I building an email list at the same time? If I am, how do I access those emails?

Going paid
What is the transition for switching to a paid group and how do I know if my group is ready for it?

@Ben Attanasio Is there a group about page I could use as a reference as far as how to structure all that to make it short, simple and to the point? TIA
