Is your child struggling to focus, forgetting homework, or feeling stressed about school?
It could mean they’re not getting the right kind of support. ☑️ Save these tips: Here are 3 easy ways to help your child do better: 1. Break things down: Help your child manage schoolwork by breaking tasks into smaller, manageable steps. This will make things feel less overwhelming. 2. Ask for movement breaks: Regular breaks to move around or do something sensory can help your child stay focused during the school day. 3. Use visual schedules: A visual guide can help your child stay on track and feel more in control of their day. 📝 Need more help? If you’re feeling stuck or unsure how to help your child at school, I’ve got something that can make things easier. Stay tuned! Let’s make this school year a better one for your child. 📚✨ 📲 Share this with another parent who could use these tips! **It’s ADHD Awareness Month! 🎗️ Let's Begin This Journey Together!**
Welcome to **ADHD Family Power**! 💥 If you’re feeling worn out by constant challenges and searching for ways to connect more and stress less with your ADHD child, you're in the right place. I understand that parenting a child with ADHD comes with its own unique obstacles, and at times, it can feel like too much. But here's the truth—it doesn’t have to be that way forever. As an ADHD mom of 2 kids and someone deeply passionate about helping ADHD families thrive, I’ve found that **practical strategies** can bring order to the chaos and help you grow closer as a family. Parenting doesn’t have to feel so overwhelming when we have the right tools and support. Here’s what we’ll focus on together: 🧡 **Structured Routines** – These can bring predictability to your child’s day, reducing meltdowns and creating more peace in your home. 🧡 **Homework Hacks** – To help your child stay focused and get their tasks done with less struggle. 🧡 **Visual Schedules** – To make transitions smoother and less stressful for both you and your child. 🧡 **Positive Reinforcement** – To encourage cooperation and better behavior without constant reminders. 🧡 **Calming Techniques** – Practical ways to help your child regulate their emotions and manage overwhelm. 🧡 **AND MORE** These strategies have the power to transform your home life. When we set our kids up with the right tools, they become more independent, and your relationship with them strengthens—without feeling like you need to control every moment. 🧡 **As we kick off ADHD Awareness Month, let’s make this the start of a journey that empowers both parents and children to thrive.** Drop a hello below and share where you’re from, your kids' ages, and what challenges you’d love support with! We’re all in this together, and I’m excited to help you navigate this journey with love and understanding. 🧡 #ADHDAwarenessMonth #ADHDFamilyPower #CelebrateADHD #ADHDParenting #NeurodivergentSupport #PositiveParenting #ADHDKids

Struggling with Sleep? You’re Not Alone—Let’s Find What Really Works Together
Hey everyone, If you’ve been struggling with sleep, you’re definitely not alone. So many of us with ADHD have been there—lying awake at night, unable to shut off our brains, and waking up feeling exhausted. I’ve tried all the generic tips, and I’m sure you have too. They just don’t seem to work for us, right? Here’s something that has helped me and many others in this community: Brain dumps. Before bed, try writing down everything that’s on your mind. This simple technique helps to clear your head and reduce those racing thoughts that keep you awake. Another tip that’s made a big difference for me is creating a sleep-friendly environment. Using a weighted blanket has been a game-changer in helping to calm my senses before sleep. If you’re looking for more tips like these, you’re in the right place. Let’s share what works and support each other. We’re in this together!

Hi Amanda! I am very sorry you are going through this! I would love to give you some insights to becoming a published author without much effort if you are interested :)
What is having ADHD for you
Did you know July is Disability Pride month?? It is indeed, and it brought to mind the age-old debate: Is ADHD a disability or a ‘superpower’? It’s a nuanced discussion, to be sure. For some, ADHD feels like a constant uphill battle. For others, it's the secret sauce to their success. And for many? It's a bit of both. To honor Disability Pride month, let’s come together as a community for a friendly debate. We’ve got some resources with opinions on both sides of the aisle, in case you need a primer. Let me know where you stand! Love<3
