I would also go for Joshua fit the battle. It was actually my first ever performance with a choir (together with Ipharadisi) and I was a bit scared tbh, but on stage it was an awesome experience. 🤩
I'm guessing we all have quite varied backgrounds. What kind of choir/s do you currently sing with? Small / large / sacred / secular / attached to a school etc etc. And how long have you sung with them?
I only started my journey with music a few years ago, already as an adult, and on paper, singing is not even my main instrument (though I don't like "ranking them"). I attended to an elementary-level music school, where I participated in a small chamber choir for about one and a half years. We had like 8 members plus our teacher, and we usually did less difficult pieces, but it kinda matched my level, so I really enjoyed it. For the next school year, I'll study music abroad, and I've seen we'll have a much bigger choir over there so I'm excited to be a part of that! Though I have to admit, I'm a bit scared by the fact that most of the other members have much more experience than I do, but I'll just enjoy it and practise a lot, I guess we all start somewhere.
