I just wanted to say, hello to all of you. I hope your studies are going well and I wish all of you much success in the future with your exams. I just wanted to let you know that I took my third practice quiz this evening for the CISSP exam and almost passed. 😢 What was my score you ask? 🤔 I scored approximately 66.67% on the CISSP practice quiz. Which is technically failing since I need a 70% passing score on the actual exam. However, I'm not going to let it get me down. My goal is to score around the 90% mark on these practice quiz exams and absolutely crush it when it comes to the real thing! If I can achieve that 90% mark then I won't be as worried as I was before. Because, it will give me more confidence going into the actual exam. I passed today! It's difficult to summarize the exam experience. I've scheduled it thinking "OK, I'm confident on about 80% of the content, so I should be able to do some damage control on the 20% left". CISSP exam from the 3rd question until the end : "So, let's talk about those 20% 😏" Even with the knowledge, it was sometimes (often) completely impossible for me to rationally select an answer, as if knowledge was necessary but not sufficient. If it happens to you, don't give up and trust your intuition. Study strategies I've found useful : 1. Being part of this community, where I've been feeling supported and valued.
