Confused by this study question
I can't logically see how Chris' organization is a data processor though. Am i missing something? ****** Chris has recently been hired into a new organization. The organization that Chris belongs to uses the following classification process. 1. Criteria are set for classifying data. 2. Data owners are established for each type of data. 3. Data is classified. 4. Required controls are selected for each classification. 5. Baseline security standards are selected for the organization. 6. Controls are scoped and tailored. 7. Controls are applied and enforced. 8. Access is granted and managed. 9. If Chris's company operates in the European Union and has been contracted to handle the data for a third party, what role is his company operating in when it uses this process to classify and handle data? Business owners A Mission owners B Data processors C Data administrators D That wasn't the right answer. You selected "D", but the correct answer is "C" Explanation: Third-party organizations that process personal data on behalf of a data controller are known as data processors. The organization that they are contracting with would act in the role of the business or mission owners, and others within Chris's organization would have the role of data administrators, granting access as needed to the data based on their operational procedures and data classification.

@Deepu Thomas that's fine.. i think what i'm trying to understand is why all the extraneous information is indicating "administrative" or data owner activities in the classification process. that's what got me.
Test scheduled!
ahhh... i'm scheduled for the test on the 30th. going to be studying hardcore for the next two weeks.

2nd floor? but why? every datacenter i've been to has been on the first floor. in context of the question.. its in the middle if there's a 2nd and basement level. on the first floor ideally because of the ease of access to bring equipment in, the fire supressions systems can be routed and recovered from quickly, mantraps and secondary ingress and egress locations are not capable of being breached from below without cutting through the foundation... you also have power systems that can be disconnected from below or above if placed on the second floor... unless the 2nd floor is centered in the building with no soft entry above or below... (crawl spaces). then i guess.. to me... its rational... or i could be could be overthinking this..

This one gets me ruffled each time I see it.. The "ROLES" as it pertains to GDPR and other regulations seem close enough in similarity ... nevertheless, i've have it written down to know the difference between owner, custodian primarily.. They like to trip you up with other roles but these two seem to be the primary key terms to commit to memory.
Feeling discouraged with statistics
Hello, fellow CISSP study group members! I hope you’re all having a great weekend. Lately, I’ve been feeling a bit discouraged about preparing for the CISSP exam. I’m determined to succeed, but my research shows that the passing rate is alarmingly low. Although ISC2 doesn’t publicly share these statistics, I’ve found that the estimated passing rate is only around 20%. That figure is so discouraging that I sometimes question whether I should even take the exam. Additionally, I can’t afford the exam fees, so I’ve applied for a scholarship from ISC2 to cover the costs with a voucher. I don’t want to discourage anyone from pursuing the exam, but those numbers are concerning! I usually enjoy uplifting and motivating others, so any advice you all have would be greatly appreciated.😊
