We live in a life that isn’t guaranteed… don’t take it for granted. Cherish your friends, family, and your dreams. We are out of town but THE SHOW GOES ON. Time to step up, and show out. Bring someone tomorrow! Make it happen!!

I had 3 new people out the week of this post.
What is your foundation anchored to?
Just wanted to share some take aways from church this am. There’s a big difference between practicing religion and having a relationship with God. Religion tends to focus on rules and traditions, but a relationship with God is about knowing him personally and experiencing his presence daily. Without that personal connection, it’s easy to drift away and go through the motions of faith without TRULY experiencing God and his fullness. To stay anchored, we must seek him daily through prayer, his word, and trust in his guidance, that inner pull. It’s in those moments that our faith becomes strong and unshakable. We live in a world that constantly offers us compromises and throws various temptations and distractions our way that are designed to take our eyes off of the only anchor that will never shift or fade. A foundation built on God never waivers with changing circumstances. His love, truth and purpose are constant and gives us peace beyond material. The world’s values are fleeting and temporary. There’s something much deeper on the other side that’s eternal. The question to ponder is, what holds your heart steady?

Love this @Sarah Isabella! And @Garrett Verellen, great question. For me, I personally encountered God March 14 of this year. Before that, I was practicing religion and it was not fulfilling. I ended indulging in the things of the world because at least gave me temporary satisfaction. In the end, I had no peace, hurt people in relationships, etc. But March 14 at night, I sat alone in my apartment with God and just spoke my hurt to him. I even cried, but that's when I felt His presence for the first time. Since then, I finally understood what a relationship with Him meant and to Sarah's point, it wasn't about rules, but a relationship. I was mad it was that simple but took me forever to understand. Hopefully that helps a bit.
