Day 21 and I couldn't WAIT to soak today!! I don't know what I did, but suddenly I started having excruciating pain in my back/hip area like a really angry muscle/ligament etc. over the last 12 hrs. It's likely related to an electrolyte imbalance as I deal with those a lot these days, but I could not wait to get in today. Today was ice cold and much appreciated, what a relief it gives to issues like that. Today's also my birthday, so Matt captured 1/22 on the clock for my photo today! 🎂

Day 20 after the Sunday breathwork on my Sunday routine. Awesome one Brock! 🙏 Sunday's I come in and do breathwork, cold plunge and then quickly go over to Restorative Yoga. Roger is in the same class! People in the Restorative are so fascinated that they'll often ask me "did you do your cold plunge today". I always answer "Yep! It's so awesome, you have to try it sometime!". I suspect they ask now because I don't come in shivering like crazy anymore haha. When we get the sun back, I'll add back in the morning walk on the beach before Kensho that really solidified the best start to a day ever! ☀️

I was so happy to see 36 degrees on the board today, because I really need that plunge. I felt so much better afterwards and I remembered to check for the red skin and I definitely had lots of it. So good to be alive! 🙏

Day 18 and we're still going! 18 straight days plunging for the first time in my life. I guess day to day I don't really think about it too much, but that's a lot of cold exposure mid winter and I'm really thankful that I'm able to do this! 🥶🧊

Today was a chilly one! 🥶 I believe I was first in the left tub and it was COLD today. But, again it wasn't really..@ 37 it was not an uncommon temp. lol I shivered a little in the tub, which I don't normally do now and my extremities were pretty cold. But, the weird thing is...Alan said the same thing and so did the guy from GA... not just me! We all felt like it was so much colder than it said, which was actually sitting at around 39 degrees by the time the 3rd of us finished. Atmospheric pressure? Outdoor temperature? Or unusually dreary weather for what feels like an endless number of days nearly in a row? Fascinating food for thought. 💭👩‍🔬 Plus yesterday's post cold plunge shelling rewards. ⬇️ The vacant one came home, but the live ones got another shot at this life! I should have taught them some breathwork!! 😮
