PERFECT TIMING
🤖 Custom Notifications for New & Pending Members
For any of you who are also managing your own group on Skool may quickly realize the default notifications aren't the greatest, and you don't even get notified if someone clicks to join your free group nor if they answer membership questions. Luckily - there's an easy fix! When launching a group, there’s a lot to do! I wanted to keep the incoming requests organized, build my email list, and be notified as soon as someone requested to join my group. Luckily we live in an era where you can fix this in just a few minutes. There are multiple ways to do it, and here is my process using Zapier 𝐙𝐚𝐩𝐢𝐞𝐫: 𝐒𝐤𝐨𝐨𝐥 -> 𝐀𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 -> 𝐆𝐦𝐚𝐢𝐥 -> 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐭 𝐊𝐢𝐭 📇 -> 𝐴𝑖𝑟𝑡𝑎𝑏𝑙𝑒 = Organize contact information and answers in spreadsheet database 📫 -> 𝐺𝑚𝑎𝑖𝑙= email me when someone answers membership questions to join group 📰 -> 𝐶𝑜𝑛𝑣𝑒𝑟𝑡𝐾𝑖𝑡 = Email lists, automations and future digital product sales Maybe there is another way to set up the notifications, but once I set one of these automations up, it was very easy to add the additional Actions I wanted to happen after someone applied to join and now I have the information in all the places I need it, organized and without me thinking about it. 1️⃣ In Zapier, set your Trigger (first app) to Skool and select the event 'Answered Membership Questions'. Select your account and test the step. 2️⃣ Airtable - Create Record in Airtable - Select the base and table you will use then what information you want to populate in your spreadsheet's columns. 3️⃣ Gmail - Send Email with member information and questions answered. 4️⃣ ConvertKit - Add Subscriber to Form (labeled Skool) with email sequence. Would a video walkthrough be helpful? I am in the airport now but can try to get this done in my hotel. Very simple process even if you have never used Zapier before. I hope this helps and if you have any questions please let me know!

Midjourney or Real? (mystery revealed)
Midjourney or real was the question in YESTERDAYS POLL. It was 62 to 50 ( in favor of MJ) But it was a REAL pic = ) I have to admit it looked AI generated (that's why I posted it). Thanks for playing!

Ok now this.... this is a super effective hook, it got me.
I Feel Scared and Sick to My Stomach 1/4 Of the Time
In case fear or feeling outside your comfort zone holds you back, know that you are not alone. I feel scared, alone, sick, incapable.... at least 1/4 of the time I walk around on this earth with you. Sometimes I want to sulk in that feeling but Ive learned that the faster you can be aware of that feeling and take some action the faster it leaves you. If you don't take action, small fears can become downright terrifying and debilitating. 99% of most fear is imaginary and you’ll see that when you take action. It's ok and normal and just means you're alive. Carry on.
