Buyers are liars!
If you saw my LinkedIn clip from last week, you'll be familiar with the start of this call. 90% of the time, whatever the prospect tells you up front is some form of a lie. There are a number of different lies, white lies, exaggerated lies, deceptive lies or in this case they can lie by omission. They don't struggle to find good bilingual sales people, it's managed out of the US. This is what I was initially told. We outsource all of UK business development to an agency. We hire SDRs locally i.e. we would never hire a German speaking SDR in London to prospect into German speaking markets. Some journey we went on there. I know that every business has problems with hiring sales people. When they tell me it's not a problem, I don't believe them. When you're speaking with your prospects no that they are never telling you the full story. Keep asking them questions and challenge them where appropriate. You'll get the truth out eventually.

Hi I agree good equipment is good practice but if you havnt heard the replay are you saying your criticising by looking at the picture ? Isn't it more important that he's actually making the dials and speaking yo people. I have made 5 and 6 figure deals from my untidy spare room from a cranky old desk? But the customer doesn't give a shit if you can solve their problem...

Hey Bertel I get what your saying and agree with you good sound mic equipment is good practise... And having been through the video again the guy never says sorry can't understand you or this is a bad line.. I think customers will tell you if uour line is rubbish for two reasons 1. If they want to get rid of you that's a great excuse sorry can't hear you buy.. 2. They are interest and they can't hear you..they will tell uou because there starting yo get frustrated they can't hear you... Lastly let's not get caught up in the details this was a good call he made the guy feel comfortable he started talking infact Callum couldn't shut the guy up. It was Callum who said OK let's leave it there Ive taken up a lot of your time ...because he new there was going to be no oppointments with this guy but let a good terms for the future..
