Hi All, Newbie here! I have been working in the film and TV industry quite successfully for the last 25+ years, but am now looking for a way to generate an income that doesn't require 14hr days! I paid for a course last year, but didn't find it particularly helpful. I have a few friends who day trade, but I don't want to be a pest to them! I found Tylers podcast a few weeks ago and have found it really informative, and in a language I can understand (thank you Tyler). Looking forward to my journey over the coming months / years. I am based near London, anyone from the UK?

Something I have been working on understanding the past week more in depth is reading candlesticks. When putting my learning into practice I have found that I am having an easier time predicting where the stock will go. This is definitely something I will have to keep an eye on and learn more in depth, but definitely something worth looking into. Don’t get me wrong I enjoy a solid looking line graph, but candlesticks definitely do help to provide further insight from what I have learned thus far. Anyone else finding them to be useful/not useful?

Hi everyone, just wanted to say a quick thank you to Tyler for sharing his experience about learning day trading and while I am at it, a small icebreaker. Currently, I am on episode 15 of the podcast and am really enjoying the knowledge that I have gained during my learning process. I have had very minimal experience trading stocks (mainly just from talking about it with buddies during college), but now that I have a better mindset and have settled myself into a solid career position, I have had an urge to take up a hobby that would generate a secondary form of revenue (I do not expect this to be something that happens anytime soon). Not entirely sure how this platform works, but if anyone would like to discuss stocks or their learning journey feel free to message me.
