Hey everyone wanted to hop on here and share a quick convo I had with a real broker. She was telling me how back in the day in order to get around the city to show her clients homes she carried around a map. It would take way longer and sometimes it became stressful to her due to all the streets that came with it. It was a mess using a map to her. Long story short I connected her story of using maps (the old way) and the GPS (the new way) with Door-Knocking Cold-Calling (the old way) and Lead Generation using the Internet (the new way). I still attend Realtor meetings as I am an agent who wants to continue growing, but to be completely honest with you I'm still hearing the same ol teachings. Hustle hard, door-knock on weekends, pass around your business card, etc. I'm not saying these won't work but what I am saying is, after learning about the power of social media advertising, it's night and day. Social Media is here and it's here to stay so why not use it to grow our business right? I'm writing this because that little chat I had with that broker put it more into perspective for me. If we don't grow and learn how to use the gps (the new ways), then we're always going to be stuck using the map (the old ways). Don't be afraid to grow, wish you all the best! How Wesley's new system gets daily leads
I remember two distinct phases for our business over the last 6 years or so: Phase 1: Me reaching out to prospects to get clients (and doing all the admin work lol). Didn’t take long for me to hit a major growth bottleneck here. Phase 2: Me stepping out of prospecting entirely and just closing deals. That’s the phase where we catapulted from around 40k/m to our first 110k/m this year… in a matter of months—not years. And to me at that moment… It became clear as day that building an INBOUND lead generation system correctly is absolutely critical to scaling any business. There’s just no way we could’ve experienced explosive growth like that with me reaching out to people. Which is why my #1 advice to anyone looking to scale their real estate business is: Don’t wait too long like I did before automating lead generation and building your very own inbound lead gen system that you control. And that’s exactly what our client, Wesley, is doing now. We helped him build, optimize and scale his own lead generation system recently. And he just reported to us that this new system got him 8 seller leads in the last 9 days (see screenshot). So Wesley not only enjoys way more control over his schedule now (no more morning prospecting blocks on his calendar)... But he’s also priming his business to handle more appointment volume that’ll help him scale… without constantly having to reach out to people (because people reach out to him instead). Props to him for doing the leg work and following our guidance when it comes to ramping up this new lead gen system. Because it’s not some “magical system” where you just click a few buttons and money starts falling from the sky. There’s a very specific way and flow that we walk all our clients through to make sure any new campaigns they launch have the highest likelihood of success. And building it out methodically in this way is how you can grow a consistent lead gen system inside your own business that you control (instead of being at the mercy of some outsourced service or “lead companies”).
