Passed DP600 ๐Ÿ™‚
I thought it would useful to pass on my experience of passing my DP600, at the 2nd attempt, but not because I failed the first. I am reasonably experienced in taking the Microsoft exams, indeed I am certified in Power BI. I did the exam via the online proctor experience and all was going well, when I thought I would look at Microsoft Learn, just to double check something. When I closed the Learn tab my laptop screen went white but the proctor was able to start from point I was up. It then happened again but the proctor cancelled the exam and raised a case with PearsonVue, but never told me he was going to. Obviously, I was a bit frustrated but the next day I received another code to book again. So I took it yesterday and passed, but this time when I opened Microsoft Learn I never shut it, but just moved it over to the side of the screen. I found a few posts on Microsoft support about similar issues, and saying be wary on using it. To be honest, I'd prefer it without Microsoft Learn myself, but I thought I'd share the technical problems I encountered. Time was fine for me, but I imagine if you dip in and out of Learn it will get tight. I had 58 questions and about 9-10 on case study. I think I checked learn twice, mainly on Spark based stuff.

@Ingo Jobling Seems it is something they need to address as never had problems with exams having used them over the years.

@Ahmet Ozturk yes it is an option now in the this exam anyway. I only used it a couple of times really, but only partially helpful for me.

Hi everyone, I'm Chris from the UK and have been involved in data engineering, in its many guises, for over 20 years, predominantly in the Microsoft platform. More recently I have been involved with Power BI since it's launch. I'm here to not only learn a few things, but hopefully I can help others too!
