My wife and I will plan on being there!!
Sports dads out there
Thought it was a very unique experience for my wife to deliver in Ann Arbor at the UofM hospital! We got to watch the game last night while listening to the hallways in the woman’s birth wing screaming all night 😂 I did a good job and kept it to fist pumps while I held the baby skin to skin on my chest. Ps - she went to Purdue so she didn’t find it special. I did NOT go to UofM but have been a lifetime fan & gone to >10 games.

@Adam Dewar Nope, we move to Puerto Rico this Saturday 👏🏼
Our baby Daisy was born today!
Sitting in the hospital chair holding the baby while she sleeps for the second 1/2 of the night so mommy can get some sleep. Took us from 11 (after Michigan won the championship… GO BLUE!) to realize she isn’t hungry or fussy, she’s just a cuddle bug and wants to be held to sleep. So now, mommy is getting some sleep while I work on courses. #angelsintheoutfield

Awesome, congrats Adam. We have four boys, but it sure would have been fun to get a girl too at some point! Thanks for sharing
Toddler to daycare
Thoughts on continuing to send toddler first born to daycare during the 1-6 week timeframe with second while both parents are at home for most part (first 5 weeks) ? I think we like idea of having that period during the day to focus on newborn but also feel some guilt about being home and not doing full unit bonding. Our provider is great and very flexible to all options but just trying to figure out what might work best for us.

We didn’t have the option of having our first go to daycare when the second (or third or fourth) was born, but it would have been awesome. Caring for a newborn with a toddler running around is a new level of exhaustion. Hope it works out for you! And if you do decide to keep your toddler at home, that will be a bonding time too, so it all works out either way.
