Sparring Study
Here is a study on speed in different aspects. Speed isn’t just moving faster than the opponent, it’s recognizing and solving patterns quickly, which gives you control of the battle. What key moments do you see, where speed and recognition collide?

I see more speed in the defense reaction time than strikes. But the strikes are hitting with precision and timing which makes the speed.
Tournament
Huge weekend! Tomorrow I will compete in my first Kyokushin tournament, it’s full contact, bare knuckle, continental Kyokushin Karate. This will be interesting.. I can hit with everything except for fist to face, and elbows. Knees and kicks everywhere is ok, I will learn a lot competing internationally tomorrow. Here is a pic with Kyokushin legend Kenji Midori. I can’t wait to share the evolution of my knowledge with you all.

I would like to know more about what you think of boxing. What is the most difficult part of boxing? What is the most fun part of it? What is the appeal of it as a martial art to you? I’d like to people to discuss more and engage more here! In this Skool we can really gain higher education

What is the most difficult part of boxing? Tapping into my willpower, while wearing heavy gloves to keep my hands up. What is the most fun part of it? Sparring with others, that are at the same level as me or better. What is the appeal of it as a martial art to you? I always considered boxing as a martial art. It involves the same principles like the other fighting styles. What I like about WGB that it’s style that welcomes creativity and freedom. I felt limited at my old gym. (no shade to my coach) It’s important for the fighter to get to know himself as the trainer guides him to the right path.
