The wife is mainly responsible for this. She arranges birthdays , school trips , gifts and plans this all around her schedule.?

Not something traditionally the woman’s job. Ann booked the car in for its yearly check. Made all the plans and appointments.

Ann does a great job of choosing these and dealing with all the attached admin and planing. Also made a walk chart Toto help me assist so I know what’s going on.

So here’s what happened. I think my wife and I both overestimated the amount that my mother in law can help with the child care as a result of this we’ve both overcommitted to work. As a result I am not sleeping during the day ( I usually work nights) I am a bit overwhelmed with it all as I don’t want to mess up my wife’s work.

I am really grateful the wife took the kids with her to work today. This allowed me to rest from my nightshift. Issues she managed along with her mother: Meals for kids and adults, kids toilets needs, kids behavior and entertainment. I did manage to do some meal prep for the family before I left but also noted wife had. Pizza in the fridge planned as well.
