🎥 NEED: Videographer in LA area
I’m a musician seeking a videographer to shoot simple, single-location visualizers (e.g. LaRussell - King Kong). It would be great if you could capture my whimsical, upbeat energy. Looking to shoot ASAP! Send IG/portfolio if you or someone you know fits the description. Thank you!

DistroKid has been great since day 1. I'd go with them over anyone else.
This One, That One, Or Neither???
I won't be releasing music until March but this is the cover art for my first single which is a rap song about putting that work in when you work out and it's over it's hard trap beat. Which one do you think it's better? Do either grab your attention? Or should I hit the drawing board again? Or is it good enough? I know we can't post our music but I figured that the art cover is definitely a part of marketing yourself I guess so it shouldn't be a problem I hope

If you go with this concept, the second one is better due to the song title text placement. The subject and text clash in the first example and makes it look amateur, which can in-turn influence someone's feeling of the song before they even listen. I'd also decrease the font size of your name in the second example to better position it away from the model. Capitalize on negative space to guide the eye to the model and title.
Which D.A.W. do you use and why??
And what's your favorite feature?

Production: Ableton. Straightforward interface, great stock plugins, sound design features, and more like audio to midi. Recording/Mixing: Logic Pro. It's punch-in, audio scrubbing, and take folders features are second to none IMO. And the audio warping to place words on the correct beat if you have trouble with a cadence, enunciation, etc is unreal. Plus the routing is straightforward so it's easy to create busses and more. This is the ONLY program I'll track vocals in.

@Bryan Burnett For production, I've also tried FL Studio & Reason. Both have come a LONG way since the early days. And both have their strengths. Fl Studio's workflow, templates, and midi grid are all amazing. Reason doubled-down on it's plugins, so it's got great expansions like Bassline Generator and more. Nonetheless, Ableton is the most complete DAW for production IMO. I've also used Adobe Audition & Sony Sound Force for tracking vocals. My short opinion is that both are cluttered and frankly trash. Wouldn't dare use them. If I'm in another vocalist session, I generally have to use ProTools but if it's just me and a producer, I only accept the session if we track in Logic Pro.
