try to stack as many reasons to click as possible
Always be thinking your title and thumbnail are one and the same. They're not separated. They are working together to stack as many reasons as possible to get the click. Here's a good example: my new video titled: "make videos for a specific person" thumbnail text: 'not the algorithm" (adds more context to the title) Circle and dot (adds further contexts it's actually about one person) red arrow leads attention to the graphic enhancing the message in the title picture of me: indicates is a talking head video or I'm the subject in the video. Bad example: - repeating words in your thumbnail that are in your title (wasting viewers time by reading same info twice) - not adding more context in your thumbnail text - not revealing key message or clue of the video Further on from this is the introduction which is to reinforce the reason they've clicked on the video and give a quick win (value) as soon as possible.

just how easy it is to pick the wrong niche
I've adjusted my niche and content multiple times. Sometimes, the videos just didnā€™t hit, other times, I realized I didnā€™t enjoy making them or had no real way to make money from them beyond sponsorships or ads. Thereā€™s no magic fix for this. Whatā€™s helped me the most is talking things out with peopleā€”on calls, in-person, whatever works. The more feedback you get, the clearer things become. When I pivoted from videography to coaching creators, I kept hitting dead-ends. It wasnā€™t until I truly clarified who my audience was and what they needed that things started to click.

the power of relatability as small youtuber
You want people to say ā€˜hey thatā€™s exactly how I feelā€™ or ā€œiā€™ve thought the same way beforeā€™ Share your wins and your losses. Small creators may not reach as many people, but if you do it right, you will attract the right people and loyal fans. Then itā€™s up to you to deliver something valuable for the attention they have given you. Key message: Be relatable to someone with your story.

Videographer's biggest mistake.. avoid this.
Content is the INPUT not the OUTCOME. For 3 years I was approaching my role as a videographer for a business completely wrong. Creating content for sake of content has little value to a business unless it's part of a system (funnel) If you offer content creation services as a freelancer, this video is for you and food for thought as to how you can generate more revenue for business's from the content you create.

Story telling
How do I get good at story telling? How do I make stories? And how do I turn them into scripts and videos?

@Connor Macholz Hey mate, lots to unpack here but in a nutshell, check out these story structure diagrams. But you need a good story to plug into this or no-one will care. I'm doing a call tonight about youtube scripting in my community if you'd like to check it out. šŸ™ https://www.skool.com/solo-creator-academy-8554/about
