We had minimal damage but most importantly we are safe!!! Wanted to write a small and quick post to let y’all know all is okay! We had a tornado touch down 5-10 mins away from us 😱 Power is out until tomorrow probably so we will be cruising while being grateful that while yes we were slightly affected, all in all, we’re physically safe and can repair what was broken!!! Probably will catch up on what I can now and stay off until the power comes back ((:

Already starting Monday off with a win in my eyes! Just posted a poem for people to get to know me better! It is through storytelling and poems that I find myself thriving the most, a true vulnerable version of me in creativity! It’s how I’m able to express in other medias of creative expression such as in flashes of photography or glimpses of life in videography. I’m excited because I just had another aha moment that through my storytelling no matter the media I express in, it’s meant to create waves for others to empower them on where ever they’re going in life. Say I’m the thought provoking voice that allows them to embrace a fear or way of conditioned limits they are facing be consciously or subconsciously! Wow is all I have to say!! nothing better than running at high 8k elevation and then coming back down to the valley and running.

Did my first 14er here in Colorado. Potentially my last! Pretty proud of myself none the less.

Quick run this morning, quite happy with the pace considering the path. Wanted to go by the trails but due to flooding, I had to go by the road! I’m quite happy from the fact that I used my run to go say hi to a brother from another mother that work at a bakery. And with our lives being so different, we don’t have a lot of free time in common so taking this time, even if it was not a lot, was a good moment in life! Use your time as wisely as you can fam!
