Personal Brand vs Entrepreneurship
This may sound very silly, but is building a personal brand a mini version of being an entrepreneur? I am giving serious thought to becoming a personal trainer. My understanding is that they have certain similarities, except you are building more of an online presence rather than just a company with employees, physical products etc. Am I correct in saying this, or is there a lot more to building a personal brand than I think there is? I feel as though I am missing a few things when it comes to understanding these concepts.

Your business and your personal brand overlap. Some more than others, as a personal trainer, your business overlap a lot with your personal brand. If people like you / respect you as a person, they're more likely to buy from you. Having a personal brand that doesn't appeal to potential customers is a stupid way of losing money and opportunities. There's pretty much no way of completely separating yourself from your business.

Time. I don't have lots of time because I'm studying and running a business. Of course networking is part of business and going to uni, but usually socializing is the first thing to go when I really need to buckle down financially or academically. I'm praying for a girl that'll work with me and will be happy to do so.
