Beware Kittl Users Soon Canceling
Hi there, I'm on the KittlDesign group on Reddit and someone said that they reached out to the company about downloading their image generations after canceling their subscription and Kittl said that you can do that, but that all images will have a watermark on them. I'm not sure if it's true, but I for one am making sure I'm getting all my images out of there before my subscription ends. Hope this helps!

Wow! Putting a watermark on image generations people already paid for? Kittl is not doing right by their customers if that's the case.
Midjourney Editor: A Game Changer?
Midjourney has created an editor available through their web interface (not sure if it's available via Discord or not). I just read through their announcement and watched a video giving an example of what it can do. I must say, I think this could be a game changer, if it works as well as their video shows. I don't want to have too many subscriptions that I'm paying for if I am not fully using them. So I was ready to sign up for a year a NightCafe before their super good deal expires. I was then planning on getting rid of my MJ subscription once I had upsized and downloaded all the images I created which I wanted (that could take at least a couple months to do). But now after seeing that MJ is seriously improving their platform and what their new Editor can do I'm not so sure I want to get rid of it. Have any of you played around with their new editor?

@Denise Wiley I use MJ and NightCafe, which has a bunch of different AI engines to choose from, including Dall-e, Ideogram (several versions) and one of the AI engines (Flux) is trainable. So you can create your own model with the traits that you want. The users/creators have done an amazing job of creating such a broad diversity of styles this way, and you get to choose from among them. I am fairly new here myself, so anyone else is free to disagree with what I say and I would recommend taking their view over mine because I'm new, but I think MJ was one of the original favorites. Kittl was very popular, until the recent change they made where they cut the AI credits to about a quarter of what they were, and they did it to people who had prepaid for a year even. Very bad business ethics. So a lot of people have left them. At this point it seems like a lot more moved over to MyDesigns which allows you to create with Dall-e and Ideogram (and a couple more I think). So that is in general what I have seen, but there are others using different AI models too.

@Denise Wiley haha! I posted a little while ago asking if anyone here used NightCafe, because I hadn't seen it mentioned. We had a little conversation about it and I answered some questions. If you might be interested in reading that here is the link: https://www.skool.com/ai-pixels-to-profit-by-bailey/anyone-here-using-nightcafe

Help with converting portraits/photos into watercolor or similar
I would like to convert animal portraits into watercolor. It's my understanding that we used to be able to use Prisma in Canva to do that, but I don't think it is offered in Canva any longer. Am I mistaken? Does anyone else have any suggestions on how to get the watercolor effect added to photos/portraits? I'd be happy with converting them into line drawings or something similar at this point.

@Janet Bullard I was pleased with how they turned out, it was pretty easy to do. Of course I made several more than what I uploaded here, as I was experimenting with different AI engines and the prompt. But most of the ones I didn't include were because they didn't have enough of the watercolor effect. I think now that I have done some experiments and figured out the best AI model and prompt I could create a lot of good results from different photos. I'm thinking now about how these could be used and marketed.

@Janet Bullard Yes for sure that has been my experience. And they have different artistic styles too, or at least the different generators are better suited to different styles.
Anxiety/Stress/Perfectionism: Sharing this because it's very common...
There was a post earlier in the other group about anxiety with posting designs, SEO, shop layout, etc. and I wanted to shared my response to let everyone know that this is very common and to help anyone that may feel imposter syndrome in anyway and know you're not alone... So in response to feeling like you have imposter syndrome, or your shop layout doesn't look perfect or your designs aren't looking like what you want or like others: When I decided to make tumbler wraps designs, there were several large design shops with over 100K sales and 5K+ reviews and they were graphic designers (like real ones who used PS, Illustrator, and Procreate), I know this because I joined all the FB groups and was doing as much research as possible to see what made them successful...because here I was, just utilizing commercial use graphics and attempting to draw in Procreate (that ended quickly). I created SO many designs, that I NEVER posted because I thought they weren't good enough, didn't look like theirs's, and I just felt like an imposter in their SPACE. After like my 100th YT video, I was just like, you know what, whatever, I need to post them to see what works and what doesn't and I did and I started getting sales on the most random designs (and in my opinion) the most ugly designs. But it was because they weren't like everyone else's....they were unique in their own way, because they were different from the 'professionals' . So it's ok to be NOT be perfect or be different than the rest. My early designs were NOT 300 DPI, some were not size correctly, I had typos on a few (this still happens today) etc. But the more I posted, the better I got and the more that sales happened and the more my confidence grew and I just kept posting, practicing, posting practicing and within that first year, I topped every original 'tumbler designer' on Etsy in both sales and reviews. (not a flex, just facts :). All this to say, don't let perfectionism stop you from posting, you'll always be continuing to learn and that's a good thing. :)

Thank you Bailey, that's a beautiful and inspiring story, and just what I needed to hear right now. It's not so much that I have anxiety, but I my personality is so focused on learning, constantly, that I get into that cycle and sometimes need to intervene and break myself out of it to start just doing the thing and not worry about trying to do it all perfectly.
