Hey Fam, What are your thoughts about doing individual monthly challenges? Where we all come up with a personal challenge for ourselves and try to see it through? Thinking this could add an extra level of accountability for ourselves. For me, I would like to challenge myself to create x number of digital products per week. If you's are up for it, we can set something up! If not, I can do it on my own. I also updated the events in the calendar for July & August! If anyone has ideas for things to bring into the group, don't hesitate to mention! Another thing I would like to do is set up annual in-person met-ups, perhaps even twice per year.

Hi everyone! My name is Hania and I currently live in San Francisco and work as an engineer in medtech. Originally from Egypt and moved to America for college like 10 years ago. I got laid off from my previous job in May 2023 and I said fuck it and spent 6 months traveling. After that I landed a job in Nov 2023 and moved back to SF for a hybrid job (in office 3 times a week). It was tough getting back to an office job after tasting that freedom and I am now realizing that I don’t ever wanna go to an office again. So my current goal is focused on career transition. Not really ready to start a business yet. My main goal is to have a fully remote job. Working remote will allow me to travel freely and have the life I want while also building a career. I’d also love a job that is more aligned with my interests and every though medtech is a great field, it’s just not what I’m passionate about and not what drives me everyday. I would therefore love to work in the music industry (I make music, I go to shows like every week, and it is my main hobby!!!) something in the intersection of music + tech.
