When to present upsells to your client?
Hey Y'all! I was thinking about upsells and how they've been a huge revenue booster for our company, especially in the past few years. With that being said, I was wondering, when do y'all typically bring up an upsell opportunity to your clients; Is it before the detail, in the middle, after the detail, and or a combination of the three? We've found doing it before and in the middle of the detail are the best for our company, as it gives a clear picture to the customer of what the expectation will be! Excited to see what has been working for everyone!

Usually I'm busy during the service, however bringing up additional up-sells prior to the cleaning like water resistant window care or tire shine helps gauge what the customer is looking for and also saves me time not going back to the same area after the job is finished. I do pitch up-sells after the job is finished on the "final walk around" however I find the more humble I stay and grateful to help the customer towards the end of the job leads to the customer using me again in the future. The more sales pitches I throw, the less "family oriented" I seem to average residential clients. Just my experience through!
What are some of y'alls go-to detailing tools?
Being in the detailing game for sometime, you definitely go through a lot of different detailing tools and manufacturers and get a good sense of which you like or just absolutely hate! With that being said, I was wondering what are some of y'all's favorite go-to tools? The Tornador is one of our favorites at O'Ryan Mobile Detailing, but I'm curious to see what y'all's go-to's are...
