Myself and my husband will be responsible for my expenses during my program, we’ve actually set aside a substantial sum for this purpose, apart from that I just recently secured an on campus Job which will help with living expenses.

A lot has changed since the last time I was here for my interview but most importantly my determination to obtain an advanced degree from an American university has actually grown stronger especially now that the skill and knowledge I’m trying to seek is very essential for my telehealth practice because currently Nigeria is in dying need of improved health care solutions following the recent menace and spread of viral illnesses, Also I’m very committed to returning back to my husband and kids after my program.

WHY ARE YOU GOING TO THE US. Im actually going to the US for my career advancement, so I just recently started my Telehealth practice and I really need to versatile in it, an advanced degree in healthcare administration will equip me with the necessary skills and knowledge needed, Also I know that US offers some of the best health care management programs with hands on experience and research methodology which I can’t find locally , have been admitted into four schools but Grand valley state university caught my interest because of it’s unique curriculum in telehealth and virtual care which aligns perfectly with my career goal.

My course is a masters degree in health care administration at Grand valley state university, it encompasses interdisciplinary learning and integrates classroom studies with applied research and professional development with emphasis on emerging domains in Telehealth and virtual care, so having practiced as a medical doctor for over a decade and now transitioning into telehealth practice, I’m drawn to this course because with this degree I will be able to Analyze systems needed for a good virtual care and also learn how to design strategic plans for an effective telehealth practice, the program will also accord me a better network with other health professionals which is very essential for my telehealth practice.

In comparison to other schools I researched on and I got admitted to, I kind of have an inclination towards grand valley state university because of its accentuation on health care administration and it’s health analytics infused curriculum with major Capstone courses in Telehealth, Also most of the lectures are industry practitioners which makes it balanced and alligns perfectly with my career goals.
