Planning software - Orion vs. eMoney
We currently use eMoney, but are looking at adding the Orion stack to our Redtail. Does anyone have experience with Orion's planning software? Does it allow you to create life insurance illustrations?

We are currently using Redtail. We use eMoney for Planning software. We are doing the billing by hand for Schwab (because we do average daily balance) and for our private equity accounts. We are wanting to know what the biggest differences are between the Orion planning and eMoney.

Integration: Orion Advisor Dashboard
I'm seeking feedback regarding the integration with RT and the Orion Advisor Dashboard. I called RT to see if they had an on-demand or live webinar to visually show the value of the collaboration, and they didn't, only a PDF. If you use this collaboration, please share if it has enhanced your firm.

Sorry, but want to understand what you are discussing. Are you talking about making the integration between Redtail and Orion Advisor Dashboard seamless? We are looking at adding the Orion Advisor Dashboard to our Redtail - so please any information you can share would be amazing.

Orion's wealth management tools vs. Emoney???
We are looking at updating our Redtail by adding Orion. It is never fun to switch software, but before we go all in with Orion . . . does anyone on here use the wealth management tools? Thoughts? how does it compare to eMoney?

I would like more details of what exactly is expected for an RIA for compliance. What are best practices? What compliance software or tools is everyone using? Does everyone hire a COO? We have tried 2 different compliance companies and neither one seems to do what they say they will do once you hire them.
