So many Poshmark things make no sense
If anyone can help here. Two things. First, I sold a jacket on Ebay last night, and I tried this morning to delete it from Poshmark, but it says there is an 'open offer' that was sent by my 'PosherVA' automatically today. Is there no way to delete an item? I cant even do 'not for sale' under the Available tab, it wont let me. So if someone accepts, I'm gonna have to tell them its not available. What a waste of everyones time. Secondly, I rarely get a sale on Poshmark. We talk about Ebay 99% of the time here, but wondering if anyone is a whiz at Poshmark. I know its a different animal, and doesnt run the same as Ebay. So wondering if there is any magic sauce for Poshmark? I have PosherVA that shares my closet multiple times a day, and I also have 'Offer to Liker' also set up to automatically send an offer 5 minutes after someone looks at one of my items. I dont really see much return on investment with it and am considering cancelling it. Your thoughts, anyone? Thanks!

@Joann Defelici it is taboo in my book even though I used to do it.

@Joann Defelici totally different set of shoppers. Different mindset as well. A shirt on eBay at $20 I will list on Poshmark at $30 and do the waterfall discount method. 20% off on eBay = $16 50% off on Poshmark = $15 Basically the same thing.
Who found profitable garbage today ?
What did you find ?

Picked up a reversible Adidas heavy jacket at the bins. I will 10x my money.
Don’t give up
I had a vintage ring listed for a while, lots of watchers, but nobody bought it so I dropped the price a little, nothing , took it down for a couple weeks, put it up for auction, again nothing, took it down again for a little while, just listed and sold immediately. So don’t give up sometimes you have to adjust the listing & have lots of patience 🤪. I have good results in ending old items and then waiting a few days to relist.

I like the determination. Never give up on some items.

Went Saturday for a couple of hours. Did really well with heavy jackets that I needed along with denim. NWT denim as well. I saw people working T-shirts as a team. They would each take a bin and pull out just T-shirts. When done they would go over to the corner and carefully inspect and fold the shirts before paying. They would take the shirts to their car, smoke a joint and go back to do it all again. I need to take a look at T-shirts that I get at the bins. Low cost and possible quick turns.

@Francisco Fernandez bring a lunch and plan to stay for a while. Our store brings out 10 new bins every 30 minutes and leaves 40 older bins out for you to rummage through. I even find good stuff in the older bins while we wait on the new ones to be rolled out. You can easily make a day of it.
Starting All Over With Early Listed Items
After much discussion we have decided to take our oldest inventory and completely rework titles, descriptions, images and item specifics like they were just purchased. Our methods now are so much better than they were 9 months ago. Our photography and listing structure is so much better now. The listings will be far better and optimized like they should. This will include a real look at pricing accompanied by some aggressive discounts to get these items gone. We are going to pull a box at a time from the warehouse and rework the entire box. This is a real benefit of the sequential numbering inventory system. I will update you guys as this project proceeds.

@Emily Kaplan let me take a look to see if bundles would work. Brands are Banana Republic, Zara, and some Lane Bryant. It will come down to size of the items.

@Emily Kaplan the biggest problem I had with the wholesale buys were dark colors and small sizes. XS and S dominated the boxes. You have been a big help. Thanks.
