Understanding Your Mind and Spiritual Growth
We are thrilled to give a peak of the upcoming launch of our new program. Starting next week, you’ll be able to start your workbook and dive deep into understanding the five main brain types—Balanced, Spontaneous, Persistent, Sensitive, and Cautious—and discover how this knowledge can fuel your spiritual growth and mental well-being. Reflecting on the Past and Planning for the Future As we look back over the past 50 years, it’s clear that we are at a crucial turning point in mental health. With over half of the world experiencing depression, anxiety, addiction, or attention issues, it’s essential to understand the biological functions of the brain to address these challenges effectively. In the 1980s, the widespread prescription of powerful medications shifted our focus from psychological self-management to pharmaceutical dependency. While some individuals need these medications, many can develop healthier brain functions through alternative methods. Our community is dedicated to teaching these methods, helping reduce dependency and promoting a balanced brain. Moving Beyond Hacks Lasting change in brain function requires deep connection and understanding, not just quick fixes. Our goal is to improve brain function, enabling you to work more effectively with others and manage life’s challenges successfully. Understanding Brain Types Understanding your brain type can optimize your mental health and improve your life. Here’s a brief overview of the five brain types: - Balanced Brain Type: Good focus, impulse control, flexibility, positive mood, relaxed. - Spontaneous Brain Type: Creative, risk-taking, short attention span, easily distracted, poor impulse control. - Persistent Brain Type: Relentless, strong-willed, likes things a certain way, can get stuck on thoughts. - Sensitive Brain Type: Deeply feeling, empathetic, struggles with moods. - Cautious Brain Type: Prepared, motivated, busy mind, predicts the worst, anxious. Combination Brain Types Most people have a combination of brain types. Understanding your combination type will help you create a personalized plan for optimal brain health.

Thanks Justen. I resonate with balanced the most but appear to have elements in each brain type. Very interesting!
Emotions, gratitude, exhaustion, renewal…
So this has been a super emotional week. I am a nurse and also a person in recovery from drugs and alcohol. I am a few months over 5 years sober, and in a very stable place where I no longer fight with my sobriety. In my work as a nurse, since February I have been working directly with our outpatient detox, addiction medicine, and mental health patients. This week was a heavy one, both personally and professionally. I have so many people near me on the brink of insanity, which I love to look at as an opportunity to make a huge shift in being, provided the right support is given. I have had anger over the way a sick person is manipulating my broken hearted friend, and it has been so much easier to take my hands off and perceived need to control, and truly wish her freedom from her suffering that causes her to grasp on and manipulate. Today I had three very different detox patients. The look in a patients eyes when I say hey, I’m in recovery too, and I KNOW how hard it is for you right now… it’s magic. Because they genuinely believe me, and I get to watch this huge wall melt away before my eyes as the playing field is leveled. As I sit in front of them as their equal instead of a power dynamic of patient and professional. It’s almost as if the shame and guilt lightens and for even just a moment they have hope. I can FEEL that energy shift in the room. The words from 90% of them as soon as I say that is “so you know! Thank you!” They know I don’t have to disclose that information. I am not required to do so… but to see the expansion, and see them just, brighten. To see them feel that connection and stop holding their breath as I get to hold space for them. There is nothing like it. I am able to be fully present on a deeper level since beginning this program. I also know that I cannot control the outcome. I know that some of them will die. I know that I can only reach my hand and heart to them and help them try to find their footing, and I know that I can’t fix them. I can only give them the tools and love and kindness that I was given. I get to work for the people who helped me, the same doctor and NP to whom I first told the truth when I was homeless and hopeless and desperate to not kill myself in addiction.

Thank you for what you do. I am about a year and a half sober from alcohol after spending four months in rehab. I could not have done it without angels like you! You should be proud!
Heyyy!
Hey everyone I have got into this over the last year and have been learning about the Paul Stamets protocol with Lions mane and niacin. Excited to be here and hear how you are all doing with your journeys!

On this World Health Day....
As I reflect on the profound privilege of connecting with you today, I'm filled with gratitude and a deep sense of purpose. Thank you for your understanding during my absence this week, as I was engaged in specialized training focused on psilocybin and antidepressants. I look forward to sharing more details with you this week. We're gathering in spirit on a day that holds a mirror to one of humanity's greatest treasures, often overlooked in the swift current of daily life: our health. On this World Health Day, I'm reminded of the intricate tapestry of well-being that weaves through every aspect of our existence, a reminder that health is the bedrock upon which all other aspects of our lives are built. In the whirlwind of our routines, it's easy to overlook the multidimensional nature of health. Yet, embracing the full spectrum of our well-being—physical, emotional, cognitive, and spiritual—can elevate us to unparalleled heights of existence. The physical realm of our health is foundational, capable of enhancing our emotional resilience, sharpening our cognitive abilities, and deepening our spiritual connections. It's a beautiful, synergistic cycle where each dimension amplifies the others, leading to a richer, more vibrant life. Imagine the body as a vessel that carries us through every moment, a vessel that deserves our care and attention. Engaging in physical activities, nourishing it with healthy foods, and ensuring rest and recovery can have profound effects not just physically, but emotionally and spiritually. The strength and vitality of our bodies can inspire positive emotions, foster a sharper mind, and contribute to a sense of spiritual fulfillment. On the emotional front, the capacity to connect deeply with ourselves and others can be a source of immense joy and well-being. These connections often manifest physically, easing tension and promoting a state of relaxation and contentment. Emotionally, we're able to build resilience and foster a sense of belonging that supports our overall health.

I am very interested in this topic as I currently take a mild anti depressant (Lexapro) and would like to ween off it. My therapist has suggested to keep taking my antidepressant for the time being and I am taking his advice. I would love to learn more!

I find 1 gummy every other day, occasionally taking 2-3 days off has worked for me. Follow instructions to start slow, 1/2 gummy etc. I am still working on my ideal schedule.
