I used to spend hours on every piece. Only to result in… Nothing. It was so frustrating I felt like punching my screen a thousand times. So I spent the past year solely focused on writing. • 1k+ words daily • Writing just for training (not publishing) • Implemented $4000+ of coaches and courses (Still am) By the time you finish reading this piece, you will know what to implement into your writing to make it easier to read, more enjoyable, and less time-consuming. Let's dive in: ━━━━━━━━━━━⁌•⁍━━━━━━━━━━━━ /1/ Bullet lists People are attracted to bullet points. Why? • They tell a story • They are skimmable • They look easy to read • They break the pattern People will often want to read the entire “list” as they don’t want to miss any important point. This tip also goes for the entire structure (like this post) ━━━━━━━━━━━⁌•⁍━━━━━━━━━━━━ /2/ Starting short and concise Capture attention with short and concise punchy statements Then once they are hooked - lead them into the sauce. Give them the real juice. Show them why reading was the right decision. Focus on getting them to read the first few sentences. Then make the next sentences want them to read the next. But whatever you do, always start short and punchy, THEN give the logical statements. ━━━━━━━━━━━⁌•⁍━━━━━━━━━━━━ /3/ Break apart sentences Nobody wants to read a big block of text. It’s uneasy to the eye and really isn’t appealing. Yet so many people do this. DO YOU NOT SEE HOW BAD THIS LOOKS?! I mean… Who would want to read this?! This is what I call “Un-attractive Writing”. ━━━━━━━━━━━⁌•⁍━━━━━━━━━━━━ /4/ Use dashes, parentheses, and speech thingies Cut up your writing to make it more effective and give it a sense of — Freshness — ━━━━━━━ Dashes Instead of using a comma - use a dash. This creates a sense of [pause] for the reader. ━━━━━━━ Parentheses Using parentheses makes it easier to read (without them - this sentence would be way too long) Plus this makes the reader read in a different voice.

Humanity is stuck playing zero-sum games. 4 billion people have access to the most powerful tool ever created by mankind. 3.9 billion of them use it as a means to mentally and physically masturbate. For the first time in the entirety of human history, we have the opportunity as a species to connect and learn from one another. Zoom out. Look at the state of society. Humankind itself is playing a negative-sum game. Instead of pulling each other up, we are fighting for scraps. Instead of creating the biggest pie that has ever existed, we are fighting for the smallest pie of all. I repeat. 4 BILLION. 4 BILLION PEOPLE who have access to the power of instant connection with the rest of the world. A power we can use to: - Connect - Learn from one another - Share knowledge and experiences A power humanity can use to evolve at 500x the speed. But here’s what the situation currently looks like: - Cheap dopamine content - Individual benefits - Competition Why is humanity fighting with one another, creating a hell on earth, when we (as CREATORS) can be creating a heaven on earth for ourselves? Cheap dopamine LITERALLY downgrades humanity as we speak. The youth, young adults, adults etc... Everyone is affected. Cheap dopamine is ruthlessly taking over. And nobody is doing a thing to stop it. Because it hides. It hides in pleasure. It makes itself seem good. But look at the state of the world because of it. “If you don’t protect your mental real estate at all costs, your idea bank will be drained and you’ll think that’s your ‘normal’ state of being.” Your ability to create content of true value, that upgrades humanity. Depends on the level of quality you consume. Now look at the youth... "What...what about the youth Euan?" THE FUTURE OF THE HUMAN SPECIES. Zoom out again... 30 years into the future. The current youth have taken control of the direction of our species. They are the presidents. The educational system. The content creators. The new leaders. The teachers. And the parents.

My time is very valuable to me. This is why I often ask myself: "How does what I am doing right now advance my goals?" - If the answer is ever "it doesn't" I will immediately drop what I am doing and move to the next task. I'm at my most productive when I prioritize well. But, it's not always easy to identify the highest priority task (or even which tasks to consider). This is perhaps the greatest challenge of being self-employed. So, my fellow writers, let us contemplate this together for all of our benefit: - What tasks do you avoid? - What actions do you strive to do every day? - How do you judge what is an effective use of your time?
