The Introvert Misconception
I’ve been doing a lot of research on introversion especially here on Skool and there’s a common narrative that I couldn’t help but notice in group discussions🤦♂️: “Introversion can be cured” “Being extroverted is a skill” “Women are not attracted to introverts” “Introverts are loners” “Introverts are shy/socially awkward” The list goes on but you get the gist. Honestly, this pisses me the F off to see because these assumptions couldn’t be further from the truth. The most accurate definition of an introvert is: someone who recharges by spending time alone. Simple as that. I mean, that’s why this groups icon is a “battery low” brain charging up. BUT, I get it. Most introverts want to feel comfortable in their solitude so much that they end up avoiding social interactions altogether which results in an overall lack of experience in social skills. That’s why words like shy, weak, and awkward come to mind when the topic of introversion comes up. Fortunately, it IS possible to be a charismatic, influential and successful introvert. I mean, take a look at the images below. These are some of the world’s most well-known introverts. Don’t let other people define who you are. Pave your own way and make a name for yourself, AS AN INTROVERT.
