what is your workout routine like?
ive always done basic bench/squat/deadlift/press/rows/lats/biceps and triceps type stuff but ive been getting more into flexbility and i know my conditioning needs work since im not trying to powerlift or do anything like that and it's more about staying in shape as i approach 40 im thinking of doing an overhaul to how i train what do you guys focus on if your main goals are health and fitness and hobby bjj?

I primary use kettlebells and inclined walking on the treadmill. I find swing and get-ups have great carry over to grappling and general life. They also don't take up much space so I can train at home in my undies. I try to hit the bells any day I am not on the mats. I try to do something physical each day if possible. My main goal is longevity.
Technique Requests
I saw my buddy Kent Peters opening up his DMs to technique requests from followers. So I figured I'd do the same thing over here! If there's a technique you're curious about, drop it below. I don't know every technique there is, but I've got a decent roll-a-dex to work from. Hopefully I can help and shoot a technique video of it for you!

Favorite qualities in a gi?
I'm thinking about designing the first Because Jitsu Gi, but want to get some feedback from yes-gi enjoyers what features/qualities you most look for in your battle jammies? Drop your ideas below! โฌ‡๏ธ๐Ÿฅ‹โฌ‡๏ธ

I am not a fan of the inner pant pocket (Inverted Gear) or gi fabric drawstrings (Fuji). Otherwise durability is what I mainly look for.
What do you do outside of Jiu-jitsu?
When you aren't strangling or being strangled, what do you do for hobbies and/or work? I create all sorts of content, myself! Memes, podcasts, books, audio books. I also love to Onewheel ๐Ÿค™๐Ÿค™

I have recently tried picking up golf. Have hit the driving range a handful of times which has been fun. Also trying to learn to play the ukulele. I work as a structural firefighter.
Heat transfer vinyl for gis and belts
Hello friends, Does anyone have experience with heat transfer vinyl on gis and belts? I recall there were a couple of companies in the past who did this for competitors. I ask as I think it's a nice touch to for promotions to give a belt with the student's name on it. I have tried some embroidery but they are quite costly. Thanks in advance ๐Ÿ™‚
