I’ve been making some exciting progress with my business, HomesteadMadeEasy! 🚜🌿 Over the past few months, I’ve built a solid foundation and here is some of what I’ve accomplished: Built a Website: I’ve launched a full website for HomesteadMadeEasy, which acts as the central hub for everything I do. It’s where I share tips, resources, and updates on my homesteading journey, and it's geared toward helping others get started in sustainable living. Still working on optimizing SEO and building out more content, but it’s live and functional! Social Media Presence: I’ve created accounts across multiple platforms to connect with the community and expand my reach: -Instagram: I need to start loading pictures and shorts on this platform. Currently, it's just feeding my YouTube channel. -Facebook: Helps building a community, it's a platform where I can interact, post updates, but similar to Instagram I need to fill this out more. -X (formerly Twitter): This is where I would engage with quick thoughts, updates, and connect with other like-minded individuals. However, I haven't made but a single post. Started a YouTube Channel: I’ve also kicked off my YouTube journey, sharing longer videos that document my progress and offer tips to others. The goal is to show the reality of homesteading while inspiring others to take the leap into sustainable living. It’s been a wild ride, and I’m excited to keep pushing forward! Looking forward to learning from everyone’s experiences here and contributing more to the community. Let’s keep growing! 🌱🔥

@Dan Lorenz I'll try to be a little more active to help boost the community. I am here to gain some information and the more people here the better my opportunities are. Do you mind if I talk about this community on YouTube and link to it? I am a double digit channel, so I don't have a following but it may help in the future.

@Dan Lorenz Back in the year 2002 I worked for H&R Block setting up offices with computer equipment, networking the systems, installing programs, printers, and checks. I joined the military and worked on small computer systems that have no real world applications outside of a conflict. I currently do simple tech support for a company where I install programs, reset passwords, and provide training. I have considered starting a Managed Network Provider for Homesteads, and my simple definition of a homestead is anyone that is able to produce a small percentage of their food consumption or livelihood off their property. Most homesteads, and likely farms too have to run programs like Quickbooks to do taxes, and that program has problems once a month it feels like. I could also advice people on if they need to pay for Adobe Creative Cloud, or if they could use a free solution for the work they intend to do. A lot can be accomplished remotely and almost anytime of the day. However, I also have experience with access points, and camera systems. For any farms that are growing a protected crops, having cameras and temperature censors are absolutely necessary to prevent loss. I know that getting the notifications setup and access to your mobile phone isn't easy to do on your own, but I know how. I do lean more towards the lower class, because that's where I am. I have to learn ways to save money because I don't have money. I wouldn't want anyone to pay for cloud storage for their videos because hard drive space is cheap. Plus, if you need to get a video you don't have to get a police report to get access to it if you hold the information. I'll try to write a longer post about Homesteading and my thoughts and opinions on it are. I am building HomesteadMadeEasy, but I am a long way off of living on a property right now.

I think I am between Stage 3 and stage 4, but I feel the wheels have been falling off since stage 2 for me.

Is Expert Advice Just B.S. ?
We've all been there. Someone is giving us advice and we want to say, "Hey, ____ off, know-it-all." You read the books from industry experts, attend the seminars, and come away pumped up, ready to conquer the world. And then reality smacks you in the face. It all end's up feeling like hollow So now what now? Check It Out Below: https://www.skool.com/ranch-vision-achievement-5689/classroom/179d401c?md=e117339f97a44d06b1120d1644a23416

Is Expert Advice Just B.S. ?

@Dan Lorenz Thanks! I love the notes at the end of each section like the cactus being over watered and the wolf that is always on the hunt. I enjoy being a life long learner, but I feel I get off the bridge one too many times. I know what I want, which is a homestead to provide for my family, but it’s hard not to look into Skool, starting a YouTube channel, or other money making business to achieve my goals faster. What’s the best advice you’ve got from a colleague at work and why?

@Dan Lorenz I struggle with the word "entrepreneurial"—I can barely spell it, and the idea of not having a regular paycheck is daunting. However, to achieve the lifestyle I desire, it's almost unavoidable. I've purchased a small piece of land and am saving for tools to work it. My wife can't work due to medical reasons, so it's a solo adventure. I love raising animals and working outdoors. Currently, I work remotely and am considering building an MSP for homesteaders, managing their networks, ensuring WiFi coverage, protecting against malware, and handling backups. While I have the technical skills, I lack sales ability. This might become my plan once I'm more established on my homestead.
