1 but no rush. Recently divorced & got my two sons - 5 & 7. Aim is to become a millionaire. I’ll likely meet my next wife on my way up, or after getting in the 2 comma club.

@Sarah Richardson good for you! You understand the solo hustle w/children. I’ve got split custody, so I don’t have em 100% of the time like you, but I’ve got two for half the time, so it’s like the same thing, right?! 😂 I’m thankful my ex & I get along fine. So pick up and drop off is a breeze. No craziness like some of the stuff I witnessed as a kid. Thanks for putting this post up, it’s nice connecting with people like you with a very similar life experience.
What’s the #1 reason you’re on Skool?
If anyone chooses the last option, you have my respect 😂

@Jared Orr I was drinking and smoking way too much which really started during the lockdowns. Dec 31st ‘23 was the last time I did either. And just made it a goal for the year to refrain completely from both. So far - not a single sip or puff. Although I’ve had several moments of really wanting one or the other. Now I’ve been focusing on improving my inner dialogue and taking action towards my big goals each day. Tracking my progress and gamifying it has really helped me.

@Jared Orr thanks for the encouragement!
If You’re Going To Cold DM.. Be Funny!
I’m sure we are used to getting the cold DMs with a “hello” “how are you” etc and it leads to drop shipping or YouTube automations. Blah! 😝 Well they should be taking a lesson from whoever is teaching this stuff, because even tho I wasn’t interested.. it was funny and I won’t forget this person because of it. 😂 Oh and they didn’t get pretzels. He crashed the plane in the ocean. RIP. 🥲 (I know this person is in the community so feel free to claim this was you. I just won’t put you on blast lol)

@Jenna Ostrye that’s pretty genius! I’ve only been on the receiving end of a handful of funny DMs. That might take the cake though. Thanks for sharing!

I made a promise to myself last week that I will help as many people as possible. Free or paid I don’t really care! I have tiers for all of them and depending on which one you sign up for the value goes up! Thats how I operate you pay to play! But for the free members I don’t hold back! I give them all of me! If you’re coming to me for help or with a question I won’t hold back! I am here to SERVE! Who else comes from a place of service?!? RAISE THEM HANDS 🙌🏼

@Darnell Graham I struggle with this too sometimes. What has worked well for me is when I set up my environment to win. What does that look like? Close all other tabs and windows on computer that aren’t related to what I’m working on. (this usually only leaves 1 or 2 up) Put my phone out of reach & out of sight so I don’t start doom-scrolling. Move my body a bit, jump in my cold plunge or crank some music to help me get in the headspace I need. TLDR: Minimize distractions. Focus on the work that needs doing.

@Darnell Graham haha! No, but this isn’t difficult to do for me and takes about 5 minutes of prep to help improve my output. So it’s a no brainer for me.
