1st Session was great here is what you missed - Audio is available here.
1st part of the session was just intro - you can skip past that. Understanding who your audience is and how to reach them. For me, I have 2 audiences: Recruiters - typically expect humor around recruitment, tips on technology, and then tips on being a better recruiter. Job seekers - Tips on resume, Interview tips, how to get a job. Then we transitioned into video content basics: 1. The most important part of a video is the hook - if you DON'T nail the first part of the video you will not capture people's attention. 2. Hook then add credibility - Why should people listen to you? 3. Record in bite-size chunks vs long 1-2 minute sections. If you want me to review a few videos, feel free to send them to me! I'm happy to give you quick tips. If you're looking for one-on-one help, please DM me. I offer hourly coaching dedicated to helping you! Feel free to listen and drop any questions you have here! Thanks to @Abby Nummerdor @Amy Ratcliffe @Josh Vogel @Hunter Cook @Dijana Kolar for showing up Today.

Joel, I didn't realize how much of the real deal this was going to be. Thanks for hosting this session and looking forward to more session. I took some great notes. As promised, a few questions I was thinking about: 1. What method is best to start systematically breaking down the content that resonates best with your target audience? 2. When it comes to video, fast and dirt or slow and methodical when getting started? 3. What are some platforms/tools do you suggest we take time to learn or buy into? Sharing the gear you noted was helpful, but I was curious about software tools as well such as Capcut and the few others you suggested for recording.
