ECR's & IER's
I'm curious to know, or if anyone else wants to share - what their ECR's are? What really gets your mind (and body) movin' and ready for the day/afternoon/evening? 🤔 Mine are affirmations in the car, listening to music sometimes really loud in the AM and PM to/from work, and of course BAMO!!!

My ECR is mindful breathing before I get out of bed for a minute or 2, take in nature (while I take the dog out), and then gratitude practice. I have an app that I can also do a 5-10 minute meditation on my drive to work if I want a little extra juice of peace. My IER is BAMO, asking myself "am I seeing clearly?" If I don't think I'm seeing clearly or capable of seeing clearly in the moment, I just focus on my breath until I can. Then the next step for me is "responding wisely" which often times means not responding immediately.

the STEA process was a big AHA moment for me, and learning all the ways to widen the gap. I also like the meditations.

Hey friends! I'm so damn excited about this community. Seth and the My Stead Mind program opened my eyes to the time and energy I was unknowingly wasting. I'm more mindful and intentional about who and what gets my energy, and I have tools to rebalance (ECR and IER) when I get overwhelmed. My goal is to expand my toolkit and improve my consistency with the tools that work for me. I would love to be "unfuckablewith" (Vinny Ferraro?)! looking forward to the journey with you guys!
