How I Run Our Team
Here is an example of a recap of my weekly meeting with one of our agents in Florida, she is a social butterfly but needs more discipline and a fire under her ass. "YOUR GOAL: $200k and or 12 deals closed. KEEP THIS IN THE FRONT OF YOUR MIND. Do you really want it or not? Tasks: You must have at least 5 Facebook marketplace listings by next Friday. Respond to everyone, be curious, and make them your clients. You must also have talked to 50 new people through Mojo. It can be text or call but have the reason you are reaching out to them front of mind as well. “I am trying to befriend people who may buy or sell at some point in the future.” No butts, it’s game time. When I die, I believe that I’ll be introduced to the best version of myself. I don’t want to see a stranger, I want to be looking in a mirror."

Shifting Focus
If the admin of a groups focus is solely the amount of paying members, the group is probably not worth paying for.

Business Motto
My business mindset will forever be “relationships over transactions.” Here’s why: I know the motto is cliché now, but my team offers a free moving truck, holds multiple sales-price records, has staff dedicated to client care, implements social media and print advertising, has one of the best local networks, offers extremely competitive rates, and highlights specific case studies to prove that when sellers work with us they CONSISTENTLY make more money over when they work with other agents/groups. Even with all of that, I still get calls back like, “Hey Justin, we decided to go with our cousin” or “We went with my sister’s realtor.” I can’t even hate, I totally get it and it hits home every time. People want to work with who they know. Relationships over transactions!

The Opportunity of Today
Just 100 years ago the average work week was 55 hours, most homes had no AC, and less than half of the homes in America had electricity. You exist in the easiest time to be alive ever. There is always something to complain about, but there is always more to be grateful for. 99% of human history would have likely wished to trade places with you, take advantage of the comfort you take for granted.
