I really don’t set a goal as this is something to keep me going. I will however sell if commissioned. I have sold maybe $500.00 since late October.
Groups.
Is it possible to see where everyone lives. On another site I started a group from my surrounding area of cnc users and we meet every once in a while to share knowledge of our work and help each other. We will go to different houses/shops and also are available via phone if someone has a problem. I for one live in central Texas between Austin and San Antonio.

Newbie.
Hello there. Thanks for accepting me into the group. I’m just an old retired person that does cnc work as a hobby and to keep my mind active. Transplant from Tennessee to Texas. Been here 12’years.

I do this as a hobby to keep my mind going. Every once in a while I sell something at a craft market. I have used easel free For 7 years and this last year when I got a bigger machine I bought the pro addition. Take your time study all settings and make your mistakes. Learn from them. I do not use it’s or any other program. I only use the auto mode on easel. Where in Texas do you live?

@Slim Mab thank you. As I have said I do this for fun and to keep this 80 year old mind going. I do sell a piece every once in a while. Then buy more wood. Have a super day.

I guess it’s a little bit of both. I make them as a hobby but I have sold some. I post with friends on Facebook when I complete a project and also list on marketplace. Sometimes I get inquiries and sell a piece. I also give some for gifts, Christmas, weddings, birthdays and new borns. My wife is an artist that specializes in painting on mesquite, cedar slabs. She has her shop and I have mine. This is her work.
Getting ready for Christmas
My daughter just cut this out and painted it. She is still learning but, how cool is this?

Just an old man who like the smell of wood and a new challenge. Started out with a 3018 Yorahome and wore it out. Now using a fox alien 4040xe.
