Really interesting essay man. Full of thought provoking points and a great view of how to manage ego and identity to benefit your life.
My intro
Whats up Chasers. The names Luke Pierce, Irish, 21 I love challenging myself proving to people that absolutely anything is possible, if you put your mind to it. I believe that motivating and helping others will always be more rewarding than any personal challenge. That is why I signed up as a Chaser😎 My main passion right now is travelling. I have been to 43 countries and I plan on surpassing100 as soon as possible. Currently I am working full time to fund my future travels, and I am in college. After a gap year in central and south America, I managed to become quite capable in the Spanish language. After accomplishing this, I realised how exciting and fun it is to learn languages and speak to people who I wouldn't be able to speak to without their language. That is why I am now studying Arabic, with confirmed plans to spend the summer months in the middle east and north Africa, with a goal to immerse myself in the arabic culture and progress in the language. At the end of 2022 I came up with a challenge that I had not seen done before in order to raise money for the Irish Cancer Society and to also promote excersise in the cold winter months. I ran 5km at 5am everyday for 30 days. The most inspiring part of it was having others join me and prove how possible it was, as awful as the challenge sounds. The overall goal of this challenge was to raise funds for a charity hike up Kilimanjaro with my father in June. At the start of June my father and I will fly to Tanzania to complete the 12 day trek up to the summit Mount Kilimanjaro. Currently, we both are pushing each other to increase our fitness and discipline in preparation for the climb. So yep, thats a quick summary of myself as a Chaser I can't wait to do some cool shit with everyone involved ❤️🤙
