Issues with Skool
There's an issue with Skool especially for us in Nigeria, I don't know about other countries. When you try to visit the website, it redirects you to a website called Gokollab. I am only able to visit the website but not the app cause I used a VPN. Incase you don't see me here, just know that I can't open the app or visit the website. However, if you by chance miss me, my email is nonjaye@gmail.com

The Power of Mindfulness: Cultivating Presence in Everyday Life
A couple of days ago, I had a conversation with @Louise Aquino about conscious breathing. I asked her how it was going, and she mentioned she had forgotten to be mindful of it. This led to the idea of starting a topic on mindfulness and its importance for our body and overall life. Mindfulness is the practice of being fully present and engaged in the moment, without judgment. It’s about paying attention to your thoughts, emotions, and sensations in a non-reactive way. This simple yet powerful practice has been proven to reduce stress, improve focus, and enhance emotional well-being. Here’s a deeper look into the concept and the impact it can have on your life. 1. What is Mindfulness? Mindfulness is often defined as the practice of bringing one’s attention to the present moment in a purposeful, non-judgmental way. It involves awareness of your thoughts, feelings, and physical sensations, and observing them without becoming attached or overwhelmed. Essentially, mindfulness is the art of being in the "now," without distractions from the past or future. 2. The Benefits of Practicing Mindfulness Practicing mindfulness can have a significant impact on both your mental and physical health. Here are some of the most notable benefits: - Stress Reduction: By staying present and aware, mindfulness helps reduce anxiety and stress levels. It helps you disengage from the cycle of overthinking and worrying. - Improved Focus and Concentration: Mindfulness trains the brain to stay focused on the task at hand, reducing distractions and improving performance in daily activities. - Better Emotional Regulation: Mindfulness allows you to recognize and accept your emotions without judgment, leading to better control over your reactions in challenging situations. - Physical Health Benefits: Studies show that mindfulness can lower blood pressure, improve sleep quality, and even enhance immune function by reducing the body's stress response. 3.
