I really need some feedback on the track I’m working on right now. It’s like my musical vibe is doing all the heavy lifting. I’m kinda blending boom bap trap with cinematic music. Let me know what y’all think, for real.
@Ángel Gattz Aight, Yeah, for sure, right now what I post are just snippets, but when the track’s done, I really take my time to EQ and master everything, make sure it’s as smooth as possible and sounds perfect. Yeah, I set up a YouTube channel, but I don’t really use it, ‘cause like you said, YouTube ain’t what it used to be. It’s more about apps like Instagram, Twitch, TikTok where the listens are way higher. So that’s where I’m putting my focus. And for real, you didn’t have to tell me that ‘cause I’m the type who loves talking. So, on my network, well, I’m on WhatsApp and everything, and my contacts, my friends, they hear updates every day about what I’m up to, the struggles in my creation, life as an artist, new things. And every time I think, I really should start a podcast, for real
Hey everyone, I’m Marine (SMOKEThaBeats), a beginner beatmaker for 5 months, inspired by Lil Baby, my favorite rapper. I’m from Guadeloupe and I’m French. My goal is to level up, keep learning, and succeed. I’m available on SoundCloud, YouTube, Instagram, and BandLab if you want to check out what I’m making. 💯
@Ángel Gattz What got me into Atlanta trap was how big it was in hip-hop, with Gucci Mane, Future, Young Thug, and Lil Baby holding it down back then. But Lil Baby, that’s my favorite rapper for real. What made me really vibe with the scene was the raw energy, the fire beats, and the way they tell real, hard-hitting stories. The heavy bass and hypnotic melodies just hit different, you feel me?
