The Green Latifa workshop run by Emilio Mercuriali at Mandali, exploring loving kindness, was a wonderful experience which has left me with greater compassion and more space for myself. It was a humbling workshop exploring both difficult historical experiences and ongoing sources of pain with my fellow Green Latifa's. I am grateful to Emilio for his thoughtfulness and guidance, Sylvia for the morning walks and afternoon yoga, all the staff at Mandali who were so welcoming, my fellow Green Latina's for sharing their perspective and to myself for arriving with an open mind / leaving with renewed confidence and a deeper perspective.
