Habitual Motivation / Importance of small steps
Understanding habits, and the practice of consistency quite literally delivers ,"unconscious results". In our brain we have a specific area called the "Basal Ganglia". Previously misunderstood, the basal ganglia was shown to have abnormal activation in patients with short/ long term memory loss. Patients who couldn't even remember their name were able to perform familiar actions without knowing why. Understanding the value of that study changed my paradigms on habits in two ways. 1.) the "one more won't hurt mentality" actually does hurt. 2.) having to perform a task for "no reason" can also be preparation for when you genuinely have "no reason" Here is a link to a very similar study: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3163829/

What do you seek most out of your fitness journey?
In my own experience I have found that my goal of building an amazing physique was not the most valuable thing I had accomplished, but rather increasing my work ethic and tolerance of discomfort.

Mediation🖕
Quite frankly it takes a F*** you to maintain mediation sometimes. We indulge in many virtues and vices throughout our lives some by our own will and some by others. However it is important to note that overindulgence is the killer of the weak minded, and excuses are the fuel for carelessness. It’s okay to set boundaries with others, however you must be ready to reinforce your walls.

"Embrace the process, not just the outcome."
If you could snap your finger and have your dream car, house and or business it wouldn't mean a thing to you. You wouldn't understand what the ups and downs feel like. A young mechanic working on a project car feels pride and joy driving his vehicle because he has spent hours of his time understanding every nook and cranny of his automobile. Immerse yourself in your daily experiences, set small goals, achieve them and have fun doing so.
