The biggest mistakes I see with overworked leaders (even successful ones)...
I talk to managers and leaders daily, and I see a common theme... They are too optimistic about how much time they have available per week to get things done, so they take on more than is humanly possible! โŒ Which keeps them working late at night... โŒ never finishing their to-do list โŒ and feeling like" "There must be something wrong with me bc can't get my work done " or" I'm too slow." They know they have regular meetings and commitments, but the big surprises come when I ask them to plot it on a calendar. That is when they realize they usually have around 50-70% less time than they first estimated! How can we ever achieve what we set out to do if we lack 70% of the resources??? Well, that's what Week 2 in" "Own Your Time" is all about! Link to the game: https://www.skool.com/leadershipgames/classroom/47e7c032?md=e686e646946447f8b6479eab19348f35 HAVE YOU PLOTTED YOUR ROUTINE COMMITEMENTS ON YOUR CALENDAR?

@Gabriel Von knorring things got really bad on life but i am back on feet now and with even more projects somehow ๐Ÿ˜ซ i have been following the prioritising sheet model all this time though and did create and break some habits

@Gabriel Von knorring tbh just deciding to change and knowing there is certain time. Like if i was to just want a change in life i would probably quickly get old habits back but saying "ok this is day 1 of 66" and insisting on habit with daily accountability made it easier. And by the 66th day the habit is formed (in the past i tried the same for a month but old habits came back soon after) and it stays :) also if i fail during these 66 days i restart my counter. It really works like a magic formula
Addictive Habits: Masterclass w Szilvia Vitos
Such an incredible training with the leadership expert Szilvia, we figured out: โœ… How to build habits as fast as possible (and how long it usually takes) โœ… How to break the ones we don't want! (which is one of my favorite parts) Plus some cool tips: โœ… Make your new habit tiny, like adding one more rep to your workout instead of an entire session. You'll find the video in the classroom or here: https://www.skool.com/leadershipgames/classroom/14d76a4b?md=00844d3f397042b4945feddd358e431b Are you working on build or breaking a habit right now?

@Szilvia Vitos I this it is escape for me. I am overburdened with work so i seek physical and mental escape any change i get and watching videos, responding to comments on reddit or playing games gives me "a break" the problem is the break becomes too long as i forget the time. Forgetting and chasing dopamine could also be due to very likely having ADHD which doesn't make it easier. Timers on my phone can only be in alarm mode which would wake up the baby so i can't use them and i forget to check time myself. I SHOULD be doing other things instead but i keep shutting down and avoiding/procrastinating work and seeking content of various interesting topics to de-stress instead. That builds up preassure to work which builds up my "urge" to retreat and it's endless cycle that leads nowhere. I am still dealing with postpartum brain and forget EVERYTHING, even most mundane things. So to keep track of who (me and kids) took what meds, when was someone washed, fed, what daily chores were done/still need doing etc i use my phone. It is portable, i can easily insert changes one handedly IN the moment (to not forget it). That means phone is always in my hand and what was meant to be quick update turns into scrolling that sucks me in. Normally i am very strong willed person (even too much at times) but for some reason i can't produce enough will power to stop myself from "checking just one thing" which turns into binge watching/reading everything at sight. Thank you for your response! P.S. if you would be so king to like the comment too i would appreciate it (so i can advance into the next level leadership game ๐Ÿ˜…)

I noticed i am more motivated if i have accountability somewhere. I am also highly competitive so having a partner drives me to do more. Would love to have someone to team up!

I am not sure where we are supposed to present ourselves, i assume here in comments? So here i go: Hey I'm Maruลกa (but i prefer to go by Sehrli or Seh). I do not work at the momemt, my "job" is being housewife and mom of 2 but i am studying and will work in near future. The best part of it is that i get to spend time with my family and raise a whole new human beings. I've joined TLG because I'm looking to learn how to better organize my time to accomplish all the many tasks + to improve how i handle mental workload (to stop forgetting things i should get done). I do have very wide range of skills but all on basic level. I am the "jack of all trades" type of person - always learning something new but never truly mastering any ๐Ÿ˜… Excited to be here! ๐Ÿ˜€
