Today was tough
It is super humid here in Nova Scotia today. 29 feels like 35, and quite oppressive. Because of this Natasha and I did our walk at out Rec Centre where there is a walking track and those 4km seem a heck of a lot longer there, but we pushed through and after supper it’s Bowflex night and streches

Water Challenge
Why should I drink water? Water is vital to our health. It plays a key role in many of our body's functions, including bringing nutrients to cells, getting rid of wastes, protecting joints and organs, and maintaining body temperature. Water should almost always be your go-to beverage. I am the WORST at drinking water. I am actually the worst for drinking any fluid, period. I can’t seem to get in enough fluids to be adequate. Well that is the change I am going to make. I am going to be consciously working toward getting the recommended amount of WATER in each day and I am inviting you to actively participate in this challenge with me. 2 litres for women and 3 litres for men. Who’s in?

@Natasha Johnson love it!! Hope you’re sticking with it! Drink even more on hot days. My granddaughter recently suffered from heat stroke.

Well wish me luck My first day in years My Plan today is to go for a 10 to 20 min walk and tonight do a 20 min stretch and a short meditation

Way to make a positive change!
Holy Smokes it’s great to be Home!
After a 10 day vacation, lots of moving around ( changing destinations 😂) a few rainy days, lots of laughter & visiting, WAY to much lawn chair sitting for this gal, it feels great to be home and get back into routine! I have jumped back into my workouts, (that was something else) have done tons of yard work in my gardens, hours of weed whipping (great upper body workout) and incredibly grateful to shower & sleep in my bed this week. Looking forward to jumping back into a new week of Healthiness ! OH YA it’s stampede in Cow Town, way to many pancake breakfasts on the menu (JK) Have a great week ahead everyone😊

Welcome back!
Leg Workout
Did my first leg workout, I was a little nervous about this because of the arthritis in my knees (21 years of electrical work on Navy ships) but with some modifications it worked well. Had me sweating and my legs burning.

Heat and soak in epsom salt will help with arthritis pain. Just did this for my husband and he’s feeling much better.
