@Ricky Berry I am doing bits and pieces until they kick me out.. LOL. I do not have a youtube channel, per se. I am formulating ideas and plans for when my daughter is ready to lunch for her Postpartum Doula business. She's in IG and has a basic web presence as she builds in person clients and developers her content.
Another Level - GO ME!
Made it to Level 3.. YEAH! While I have the "mechanics" down, I certainly need to focus on "content" and "content presentation". The next big rung is the 1-1 With The OG Himself! That will have to wait until my daughter is ready to launch her YouTube channel. Right now she is focused on IG and gaining "in person" clients and I am focused on "Data Architecture" for my real job until I "retire".. :) Thank You to all for feedback thus far! Great community here!

Has anyone tried the thumbnail creator that VidIQ has? There's a YT video that they made about it too.

My video on STOP teaching that stupid Bow and Arrow.
Okay, I'm feeling like I have nothing to say on my video but to do a two minute video of making fun of the people who serve like this. But here are two thumbnails.

Possible talk track.. The can be words the "pop" on the screen with sound effects like a volleyball being hit, etc.. When it comes to volleyball, the serve is the first weapon in your arsenal. Yet, many players cling to the "Bow and Arrow" serve, also known as the standing float serve, without realizing its limitations—especially in competitive environments. While it’s a decent starting point for beginners, relying on this serve in high-stakes games can hold back both individual and team performance. Here’s why the Bow and Arrow serve falls short and why advanced techniques like the jump serve and jump float serve are far superior. Limitations of the Bow and Arrow Serve The Bow and Arrow serve is fundamentally about control and consistency. It involves a stationary stance where the player draws their arm back and executes a forward motion to send the ball over the net. While simple to perform, this technique is predictable and lacks the aggression needed to pressure opponents. 1. Limited Power: The Bow and Arrow serve is delivered from a stationary position, which significantly reduces the force behind the ball. Without the forward momentum of a jump or the added height from an airborne stance, the serve lacks the velocity needed to overwhelm skilled passers. In competitive play, a weak serve is often a free point for the receiving team. 2. Predictability: Advanced teams train extensively to handle serves. The lack of spin or variation in the Bow and Arrow serve makes it easier for opponents to anticipate and pass effectively. Unlike a jump float serve, which can cause the ball to wobble unpredictably, the Bow and Arrow serve offers no surprises. 3. Lack of Strategic Versatility: In high-level volleyball, serves are used strategically to target weak passers, disrupt formations, or create scoring opportunities. The Bow and Arrow serve doesn’t provide the precision or variability required to execute these tactics effectively. 4. Physical Limitations: While easy to learn and perform, the Bow and Arrow serve doesn’t take advantage of a player’s full physical potential. By staying grounded, players miss the opportunity to leverage their athleticism, such as the explosive power and extended reach that come with jumping techniques.
