@nikita just doing the DJI tutorial and thought with a bit of tweeking you may be able to get the Knurled knob surface by using the imprint comand over the surface to create a grid, Then select all those lines and adding a pipe and change the profile so that its got a 4 vertex count to create a diamond profile. Changing the dims so that it creates pointed diamonds that wraps around the surface of the button. Perhaps i havn't explained this correctly but hopefully by looking at the screen shots you may get the gist of what i'm trying to get at. I have added far too many lines to demonstrate this compared to the origional. I'll leave it with you to have a play and experiment with. mike

Currently working on materials for my custom guitar (modelled in Plasticity) in Blender. The bump maps for the wound strings look a little funky and need more work, as do the bump maps for the knurled knobs and bridge. Lots more work still to do!
