Math for about an hour, worked out. Leg day!
What are some hobbies/habits you have that makes you happy?
Most of the things I do in my free time are mostly grinding (math, workout..) and you guys have habits about raising plants and taking a bath before sleeping. That made me think, maybe I should have a habit solely dedicated to my well-being and happiness as well. Can you tell me your happiness/well-being habits?

Hey your hobbies are all really cool! Daisy I feel like your reading comic habit and studying nihongo habit might be related maybe since mangas are in Japanese.. That's part of why I want to learn Japanese as well- to watch anime😆. Kyle, I've actually gone to some bouldering gyms in the past after watching magnus mitbo's climbing youtube channel, and I agree that it's a really fulfilling experience! Camping and outdoor stuff as well as reading is a great suggestion as well. Thanks!
SMART GOALS
Hey guys! Here's a summary of what we talked about with @Brian Hogan and @Emily Mariscal on the Zoom call Saturday. 1. Going forward we'll have a weekly zoom call on Saturdays 3pm Helsinki time (we can negotiate about this in case the time is difficult for others.) 2. SMART Goals - We will create smart goals and write them here for others to see. (Spesific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Timebound) Comment the goal(s) under this post. 3. After creating the goal each one of us will break it down into tasks and habits. The completion of the tasks and habits is what the accountability partners monitors. In order to stay on track and accountable we'll each have our own partner. We can of course ask one another to be each others partner, but I suggest initially we decide on it based on a couple of things 1. time zone ( the closer each other the better) 2. area of improvement/interest ( for example two people doing a yoga challenge ) How we actually stay on track and hold each other to our goal? Let's say my partner is @Minjoon Choi. I find out he has a goal of reading a book per week. Now I will create a post for Minjoons' goal. Example: Minjoos' goal Reading a book per week. Under this post created by me Minjoo will comment his progress: Day 1/60pages/done. Because I'm creating the post for his goal I will be notified for each comment. If misses a day it is my job to ask why. The alternative way to do this is through messaging each other privately. However, commenting on a spesific post will be visible for everyone.This creates more of an incentive to actually follow through. (This is what is the system I came up with and I'm sure it will change as we go. If you guys have any ideas on how to make the system better I'd very much like to hear them.) -Paulus

Hello! My name is Minjoon Choi. My favorite hobby is reading. I'm currently working on math, working out, and reading as much as I can. I also try to take 30 minute walks after each meal and I'm practicing not taking my phone with me to the restroom as it usually leads me to spend more time on the phone after using the restroom. I'm planning on learning a new language (japanese, maybe, since I want to visit Japan), start a book blog and practice drawing. My timezone is gmt+9. I'd like to start right away and I'm hoping it will last a year or more!

@Paulus Kähkönen great!
What This Community Is About
This is a community where like-minded people get accountability (partners) for achieving their goals. I wanted to create this place since consistency and getting uncomfortable work done is the biggest sticking point for people (me included) when it comes to getting from point A to point B. Procrastinating or not finishing a project feels like crap. Not doing your best at your job, not putting in the hours while studying for a test or while learning a new skill or a hobby. These are just a few examples. It's easy to come up with excuses when it's just you. This is why having a friend to share the journey with is so powerful. For some reason, we are willing to let ourselves down before we let others down. In a way, it is a beautiful quality. So let's use it. The way this will work: - When you want to work on an area of life (work, fitness, love, wealth, cleaning your room etc.) You get a partner and together you make sure both make progress on a goal. - Together you choose a time period for the partnership - I suggest a shorter period at first like a week after which you can recommit. - You can add incentives like prices for when you doa good job or punishments when you don't - There will also be information added to the classroom that will help with habit formation, self-improvement and goal achievement that I recommend you utilize. I made this community out of my own desire to have something like this. I'm a goal-oriented person with a lot of ambitions. I want to live my life doing things I love to do. I want to get great finances, relationships, a great body, happiness a sexy wife, and travel the world with friends. Fun stuff. Maybe you guys have similar goals and interests. Unfortunately in a world where comfort is valued over everything else, it's rare to meet people who are willing to stretch themselves outside their comfort zone consistently. And that's why most people are struggling. This is a place to come together and celebrate doing the not-so-fun stuff and seeing results as a consequence. On the other side there is growth and that's what makes life great.
